Catherine died in Pike County, after which Levi moved back to Jeffersonville where he died.

John married Euclid Freeman July 4, 1895 and was thought to have had two daughters who died before 1900 but this info is not yet confirmed. John and Euclid appear on the 1900 census for Findlay, Hancock County, Ohio records. Euclid died before 1905, where and when is not yet known. In 1905, John moved to Iowa and started his “second life”.

Some who moved west knew things about their families back in Ohio, especially those who did not move west. John Cary’s brother, William S. 1855 - 1915 moved to Lucas County, Ohio, Ira D. 1877 - 1926 moved to Lake County, Ohio, Jacob D. (Dawson) 1865 - 1948 lived with Ira and or his son Clarence. Nancy Jane 1863 - 1929 married Ira Beekman and they lived in Pike County, Ohio.

Others that the Iowa families are wanting to learn about are: Levi Jr. 1858 - 1922, Samuel Simpson 1862 and unknown death date, and Mahala 1874 - unknown death date.
