C. E. Moberg

Services were held at the presbyterian Church Monday at 10 a.m. for C. E. (Chris) Moberg, who passed away Friday evening, August 9, at a Scottsbluff hospital. His death brought to a close his fight against his illness. He was 73 years of age.
The son of Andrew and Christina Moberg, he was born April 15, 1890 at Aurora Nebr. He was a graduate of Aurora High School and Colorado College at Colorado Springs with the class of 1913.
He was married to Maud DeVault at Denver on June 9, 1921.
Mr. Moberg was a long-time employee of the Great Western Sugar Company; starting in the Eaton, Colorado factory in 1913, moving from there to Scottsbluff and then to Bayard as chief chemist. He retired in 1955 as assistant superintendent.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and Bayard Lodge No. 301 AF&AM.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Beth Campbell of Colorado Springs; three grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs Harold Moberg of Los Angeles and Mrs Carl Davidson of Aurora, Neb.
The rev. Jerrold Aspengren officiated at the services Monday. Burial was in the Bayard cemetery. Plummer Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
A memorial to his memory has been established to the choir of the Presbyterian Church.

     Marjorie Beth Moberg was educated at St. Charles, St. Charles Co., MO; Attended Lindenwood College in St. Charles for two years. She was born on 4 October 1922 at Bayard, Morrill Co., NE. She was the daughter of Carl Ephraim Moberg and Maude Carolyn DeVault. Marjorie Beth Moberg began military service Served in the WAVES during WWII. She married Harold Robert Campbell on 3 July 1943 at Washington, D.C., Married in a restaurant in downtown Washington, D.C.

     Ruth Naomi Moberly was born on 27 April 1898. She married George Dallas Wilkin, son of Dallas Orlando Wilkin and Lugenia Izora Hawthorne, on 26 July 1931 at Kentucky. Ruth Naomi Moberly died on 30 August 1966 at Highland Co., OH, at age 68.

     Herman Mobley was born circa 1894 at Kentucky.¹ He married Bertha Mae Wallace circa 1923.

     Laura A. Mobley married William Updegraff.¹

     Mary Louise Mobley was born on 30 June 1924 at Ohio. She married Stanley Wilkin, son of Arnold Wilkin and Leona Fettro, on 1 December 1945.

     Esther Mock married Jacob Fisher.

     Francis Wesley Mock married Rebecca Wendel. Francis Wesley Mock was born on 9 August 1875. He died in 1973.

     Emma Moder was born in December 1866 at Indiana.² She married Francis Edwin Emmert, son of Rev. John J. Emmert and Asenath Beasor, on 5 September 1894, Ceremony by Rev. J. S. Milden

     Mary Modeste was born on 18 April 1915. She married Vernon Louis Larimore, son of Louis E. Larimore and Maud E. Smith. Mary Modeste died on 19 September 1971 at age 56. She was buried in September 1971 at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Escambia Co., FL.

     Irma Johanna Moeller was born on 15 November 1915 at Illinois. She married Harry R. Wright Jr., son of Harold Randolph Wright and Dorothy D. Griffin, on 23 December 1945 at Watertown, WI, Irma remarried in 1964 to Elmer Henry Kohlhauff, in Montgomery Co., Indiana. Irma Johanna Moeller died on 6 March 2007 at age 91.

     Lawrence Moeller was born on 17 January 1913 at Dearborn Co., IN, Indiana birth certificate shows 23 JAN, all other sources show 17 JAN. He married Elberta Fichter, daughter of John M. Fichter and Mary Elizabeth Kissel, on 2 February 1937. Lawrence Moeller died on 29 September 1973 at 325 Vista Street SW, Ft. Walton Beach, Okaloosa Co., FL, at age 60.      Eugene Moffat was born circa 1878 at Missouri.¹ He was the son of John L. Moffat and Viola Pierce.¹

     John L. Moffat was born circa 1853 at Wyoming.¹ He married Viola Pierce, daughter of Daniel E. Pierce and S. Virginia Swyer, on 5 October 1876 at Madison Co., IL.¹ John L. Moffat lived on 11 June 1880 at Girard, Crawford Co., KS, Cashier in bank.¹

     Mural Moffatt was born in 1897. She married Carl R. Dunning. Mural Moffatt died on 13 June 1974. She was buried in June 1974 at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge, Guernsey Co., OH, Findagrave #105409703.

     Garner Moffett was born on 18 January 1807. He married Margaret Mary Jane Beatty Davis on 15 September 1831 at Washington Co., VA. WHITE, Margaret M. (Chapman), age 86, of Vandalia, passed away Tuesday afternoon at the Springcreek Nursing Center after a short illness. She was a member of the Christian Life Center and a retired employee of Rike Kumler Co. Preceded in death by her first husband, William K. White and her second husband, Virgil Chapman. She is survived by 6 daughters, Sarah White, Betty & husband, Lee McNutt, Ann & Roy Pierce, Joyce & Walter Spain, Virginia & Richard Myers and Peggy White; 2 sons, William & wife, Carmel White and Robert & wife, Frankie White; 3 sisters; 1 brother; numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
