Christian Neuenschwander married Anna Magdalena Steffen, daughter of Gabriel Steffen, on 21 January 1701 at Steinsfurt, Rhein-Pfalz, Germany. Christian Neuenschwander immigrated before 1728 to Philadelphia, PA; by 1728 they were living in Coalbrookdale Twp., Philadelphia County (now Berks County), Pennsylvania.1


Note: Signed a petition in May 1728, at Coalbrookdale Twp, Philadelphia (now Berks) County, Pennsylvania along with Jost Hite (Hans Justus Heydt) requesting relief and protection from hostile and destructive activity of Indians.1

He died between 1736 and 1737 at Frederick Co., VA.1
