Harmony, McMinn Co., TN.^2,1 She was the daughter of James Woods Netherland and Ann Virginia Lipscombe.² Catherine Rowena Netherland married Robert Milton Staples, son of Charles Staples Jr. and Mildred Ann Walker, before 9 June 1870.³ Catherine Rowena Netherland lived on 10 June 1880 at Peter Smith's Hotel, Whitesburg, Hamblen Co., TN.¹ She died after 10 June 1880 Online genealogies show her death in 1879 at Knoxville, however she was living in a hotel in Whitesburg, Hamblen County, TN with sons Clarence and John Carriger Staples as of the 1880 census.      Caroline Neu was the daughter of Karl Neu and Genovefa Grether.¹ Caroline Neu married Ludwig Ziegler, son of Jakob Friedrich Ziegler and Rosina Katharina Scheurer, on 9 May 1876 at Evangelische Kirche, Lörrach, Baden, Germany.¹

     Hede Neu married Hans Richard Schäfer, son of Albert Schäfer and Ida Munzinger. Hede Neu died on 24 June 2002.

     Delmer Corneilius Neubauer was born on 16 September 1920 at Pierce Co., NE; son of Leo and Ella (Backhaus) Neubauer of Pierce County, Nebraska. Delmer Corneliux Neubauer, 97, funeral will be held Saturday, Aug. 18 with burial in the Osmond cemetery. He died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2018 at Norfolk. He was born September 16, 1920 on a farm north of Osmond to Leo and Ella (Backhaus) Neubauer. He was married on Nov. 24, 1946 to Doris Leingenfelter. They had 2 daughters and 1 son. He was survived by 1 daughter and her husband, 1 daughter-in-law, 1 son-in-law, 1 brother and his wife, 1 sister-in-law, 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.      Bernice V. Neuens was born on 1 October 1909 at Medora, Billings Co., MT; daughter of Edward D. and Stella Carrie (Stecker) Neuens. She married Gerald Salathiel Tallman, son of Norman Leslie Tallman and Louise Sarah Johnson, on 25 June 1929 at Pierce Co., WA. Bernice V.      Catherina Neuenschwander was born circa 1680 at Schangnau, Canton Bern, Switzerland. She was the daughter of Peter Neuenschwander and Barbli Stauffer. Catherina Neuenschwander married Johann Jacob Spiess on 7 March 1702 at Dühren, Kraichgau, Palatinate.¹

     Christian Neuenschwander was born on 12 October 1673 at Eggiwil, Canton Bern, Switzerland. He was the son of Peter Neuenschwander and Barbli Stauffer. Christian Neuenschwander married Anna Magdalena Steffen, daughter of Gabriel Steffen, on 21 January 1701 at Steinsfurt, Rhein-Pfalz, Germany. Christian Neuenschwander immigrated before 1728 to Philadelphia, PA; by 1728 they were living in Coalbrookdale Twp., Philadelphia County (now Berks County), Pennsylvania.¹
