Jody was active in the American Royal and was a member of Saddle & Sirloin since 1966. She was an active volunteer at Lakeside Hospital in Kansas City, MO. Jody was very local and true to her friends, and she had a great love for her family.
Jody is survived by her husband, A. W. The Rev. Niedner was born Oct. 4, 1919, in Atchison, Kan., and grew up in St. Charles, Mo. He graduated from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, in 1944 and was a Lutheran pastor, serving churches in Wyoming, Nebraska and Oregon. From 1957 to 1978, he was president of the Nebraska district of the church's Missouri Synod, and he retired in 1985 after seven years at St. John Lutheran Church in Salem. He had lived in Beaverton since 1988 and was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Tigard. In 1944, he married Esther M. Harting.
Survivors include his wife; sons, the Rev. Frederick A. Jr., Ronald M., Richard M. and John W; daughters, Janet R. Going and Joyce L. Greene; brother, Paul; sister, Carolyn Finck; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Interment is in River View Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wilhelm Funeral Home.
