Short, daughter of George Short and Martha McBride, on 21 March 1872 at Tazewell Co., IL. Orrin Nolder died on 3 August 1927 at Hopedale, Tazewell Co., IL, at age 80.

     Jesse Pierce Nolen Sr. was born on 16 September 1895. He married Maude Worrell. Jesse Pierce Nolen Sr. died on 13 November 1960 at age 65. He was buried in November 1960 at Oakview Memorial Park, Bells, Crockett Co., TN, Findagrave #149167933.

     Margaret Neal Nolen was born on 1 May 1925 at Alamo, Crockett Co., TN. She was the daughter of Jesse Pierce Nolen Sr. and Maude Worrell. Margaret Neal Nolen married Harry Hite Nichol, son of Wendel Nichol and Elsa H. Hite, on 28 March 1946 at Anderson Co., TN. NICHOL, MARGARET NEAL NOLEN - passed away on September 12, 2011. She was born, on May 1, 1925, in Alamo, Crockett County, Tennessee. Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was active in her church, various clubs and as a community volunteer in the Concord/Farragut area. During her life, Margaret held many positions in the church, as well as the United Methodist Women. She was president of the UMW three times; served as an officer in the Oak Ridge District of UMW; and served as an officer in the Holston Conference of UMW. Her main interest was in Missions, both home and foreign, and she was a member of the first United Methodist Women's foreign mission trip, which went to Haiti. Margaret was active in the Farragut Parent Teacher Association serving on the board in many capacities and as President of Farragut Parent Teach Association when the elementary, middle and high schools were combined. When the elementary school formed their new PTA, she assisted in the formation of that organization. When the new Farragut High School was built it was necessary to have a new parent organization. She was the founder, along with the president, of the new Parent Teacher Student Association. Margaret Nichol was a past member of Farragut Women's Club; Ossoli Women's Club; Belle Fleur Garden Club; and Knoxville Rose Society. She traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada, Italy, Germany, Ireland, the Orient, Mexico, West Indies and spent considerable time with her daughter, Elsa, and family in Salzburg, Austria. Margaret was a noted genealogist, with her hobby extending over a period of 45 years. In 2009, she published the book; "Campbell Station: Its Place In Time". She made contributions to genealogy websites throughout the eastern United States. She compiled five genealogy lineage books; and compiled a Southern Heritage Cookbook. Before returning to Knoxville last year she spent the last twenty years in Jacksonville, Florida. The family wishes to express it deep appreciation to the staff of Little Creek Sanitarium for their compassionate care in her final days. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Pierce and Maude Worrell Nolen, her husband, Harry Hite Nichol, her son James Neal Nichol, and two brothers Jesse Nolen Jr. and Bobby Nolen. Margaret is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, H. Douglas and Debi Nichol of Lenoir City, Tennessee, David W. and Kathy Nichol of Mobile, Alabama; daughter Elsa Jane Nichol of Knoxville, Tennessee and seven grandchildren, Jessica Nichol, Rachael Nichol, Ethan Nichol, Bonny Nichol, Harry Spraiter, Douglas Spraiter and James Spraiter. Margaret is also survived by one brother, Tommy Nolen of Newbern, Tennessee and two sisters; Catherine Young and Dora Lee Davis both of Alamo, Tennessee. Helen remarried to Harold John Kelly on 12 SEP 1945 at Casper, Wyoming. Charles Edwin Noll died on 7 January 1944 at Chicago, Cook Co., IL, at age 20. Charles W. Noll

Charles W. Noll, 85, 8412 15th Ave., died Friday morning at Kenosha Memorial Hospital after a two-year illness.

He was born on Nov. 26, 1893 in Waynesboro, Pa., the son of the later Mr. and Mrs. John (Ida Fraver) Noll.

He received his education in Waynesboro schools and later moved to Rockford, Ill. He came to Kenosha in 1968 and made his home with his daughter.

In Pennsylvania, on June 1, 1918, he married Helen Arnold. She died on Jan. 1, 1965.

He was an Army veteran of World War I, 1965.

He was an Army veteran of World War I and served from 1916 until 1918.

He was formerly employed by the Ingersoll Machine Milling Co. in Rockford.

He was a member of the Grace Methodist Church of Rockford, past united commander and secretary treasurer of the Travelers of America, past commander of Dugger American Legion Post at Milledgeville, Ill.

He was a member of the Walter R. Crag American Legion Post, Black Hawk Voiture 40 et 8, and the Senior Citizens and Men’s Garden Clubs in Rockford.

Surviving are a son, John H., Gastonia, N.C; a daughter, Mrs. John (Mildred) Supple, Kenosha; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Charles, and two sisters and six brothers.

Noll and Olive Naomi Lechner.¹ Harold George Noll married Barbara Jane Everdeen on 1 March 1943 at Crystal, Montcalm Co., MI. Harold George Noll died on 22 November 2009 at Montcalm Co. (probably), MI, at age 87 per SSDI, last residence Carson City.

     J. Raymond Noll was born on 1 June 1906.¹ He was the son of Samuel Noll and Edith May Button. J. Raymond Noll died in June 1978 at South Gate, Los Angeles Co., CA.²

John Henry Noll married Lila Marion Staff on 7 November 1942 at Camp Crowder Chapel, South of Neosho, MO; this marriage appears to have been over by 1982 when Lila died -- John is not mentioned in her obituary.

John Henry Noll died on 29 March 2004 at age 83.

     Mildred Lodene Noll was born on 12 February 1925 at Winnebago Co., IL. She was the daughter of Charles Washington Noll and Helen Esther Arnold. Mildred Lodene Noll married John Allen Supple on 16 May 1954; John had three daughters from a prior marriage or relationship(s): Tracy (1946), Kelly (1951, and Renee (1954). Mildred Lodene Noll died on 2 February 2009 at age 83 per SSDI, last residence Reedsburg, Sauk Co., WI.

     Minnie Noll was born on 10 May 1890 at Missouri 1900 census shows May, SS records show November.¹ She was the daughter of Allax Noll and Theresa Havet.¹ Minnie Noll married Floyd Thomas Farr, son of Fred Carrolton Farr and Lora Belle Howell, circa 1919. Minnie Noll died on 16 March 1960 at age 69.

Virginia Mae Noll lived in 1989 at 621 Lakeside Drive SE, #A, Grand Rapids, Kent Co., MI. She died on 26 April 2011 at Kent Co., MI, at age 91.
