Daisy D. Northrup lived in January 1920 at Hospital for Insane, Norfolk, Madison Co., NE, census sheet 16B. She died on 10 August 1928 at Petersburg, Boone Co., NE, at age 40.

Earl D. Northrup

FREMONT -- Earl D. Northrup, 73, of Fremont, died Sunday at Dodge County Memorial Hospital, Fremont.

Services are at 2 p.m. Thursday at Moser Memorial Chapel, Fremont, with Elder Frank Spencer of Jehovah's Witnesses officiating. Burial is in Ridge Cemetery.

Mr. Northrup was born March 1, 1914, at Petersburg. He was reared in Petersburg and served in the U.S. Army from 1933 to 1936. He married Jessie Munsinder (sic) Salter March 12, 1941, at Neligh.

Mr. Northrup moved to Oregon where he resided for 20 years. He later settled in Columbus where he worked for the City Street Department for the City of Columbus. Mr. Northrup moved to Fremont in 1977.

Surviving are his wife, Jessie; four sons, Donavin of Fremont, Frank of Valley, Terry of Salem, Ore., and Danny of Payette, Idaho; 21 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was buried in June 1987 at Ridge Cemetery, Fremont, Dodge Co., NE, Findagrave #91744981.

Electa Northrup married Charles Munsinger, son of Christian Adam Munzinger and Maria Eva Krick, on 23 October 1849 at Lorain Co., OH. Electa Northrup died on 18 December 1917 at Tabor, Mills Co., IA, at age 90. She was buried in December 1917 at Tabor Cemetery, Tabor, Mills Co., IA.
Note: After her father's death in 1905, daughter Evangeline initiated a legal proceeding in 1906 to have a guardian appointed to supervise the estate of Charles Munsinger.

Electa initiated a lawsuit against her daughter in 1911 to establish her ownership and control of the estate.

Northrup and Mary Elizabeth Klein.1 Frank Edgar Northrup married Anna Margerate Worden on 10 April 1907 at Petersburg, Boone Co., NE. Frank Edgar Northrup lived on 12 May 1910 at Oakland Precinct, Boone Co., NE.2 He died after April 1910.
Note: Frank E. Northrup is not found in public records or censuses after the 1910 census. Anna's marital status as of the 1920 census appears to have been corrected from "Wd" to "S", although it could have been in the reverse order. Anna later remarried to Gordon J. Caparoon. The Frank Martin Northrup, born 10 APR 1886, whose WW I draft registration shows his residence at Belfry, Montana, may have been the same individual; however no further record of that Frank Northrup is found either.

Northrup and Mary Elizabeth Klein were divorced before June 1900; ; not sure whether there was a legal divorce. George and Mary were living in separate locations as of the 1900 census. George W. Northrup lived in June 1900 at Bassett, Rock Co., NE, building contractor, living separately from his family, with one lodger in his dwelling.2 He died after June 1900 no record found after the 1900 census.
