     Harry Grant Nye was born on 16 August 1886 at Arcadia, Trempealeau Co., WI.¹ He was the son of Edward Quincy Nye and Caroline Adelia Clippinger.¹ Harry Grant Nye married Anna Victor Penovich, daughter of Peter Paul Penovich and Anna Victor Crewe, on 26 September 1920 at Chicago, Cook Co., IL. Harry Grant Nye died on 29 September 1946 at Chicago, Cook Co., IL, at age 60.

     Harry Grant Nye Jr. was born on 13 August 1922 at Chicago, Cook Co., IL.¹ He was the son of Harry Grant Nye and Anna Victor Penovich.¹ Harry Grant Nye Jr. died on 4 May 1972 at Highland Park, Lake Co., IL, at age 49.¹

     Jack Nye was born circa 1918 at Iowa.¹ He married Eileen Emily Tubbs, daughter of Winfield Scott Hancock Tubbs and Rebecca Jerletta Chapman, before April 1940.¹

     Joseph Nye was born on 12 March 1831 at Pennsylvania.¹ He married Eleanor King. Joseph Nye lived on 28 June 1870 at Martin Twp., McLean Co., IL, farming.¹ He died on 19 July 1899 at age 68. He was buried in July 1899 at Scogin Hill Cemetery, Bloomington, McLean Co., IL, Findagrave #36012888.

     Lewis Stewart Nye was born on 15 May 1811 at Marietta, Washington Co., OH. He married Sarah Huse Plummer on 1 January 1834 at Meigs Co., OH. Lewis Stewart Nye died on 9 June 1891 at Champaign Co., IL, at age 80.

     Margaret Nye was born on 2 July 1877 at Arrowsmith, McLean Co., IL, A Social Security application record exists that shows her born 2 JUL 1887 to Francis Heagler and Mary Nye. However, had this been true, she would only have been 12 years old as of the June, 1900 federal census, and would have been listed with her parents. Instead, her mother, Mary (Nye) Heagler is listed with three children born, all three still living, and only Harriet and Roy listed in the household. Margaret (Nye) Clark was listed with her husband Harry Clark in Martin Township, born JUL 1877, married for two years. On Harry C. Clark's 1942 death record, his spouse is listed as "Margaret (Nye) Clark", but I cannot determine whether she was still living at that time, nor has a death or burial record been found for her. Harry's newspaper obituary does not mention a wife, nor does his Findagrave.com memorial. Frank Heagler does appear to have been Margaret's biological father -- he was listed as a boarder in Joseph Nye's household in the 1880 census, Martin Twp., McLean County. The reason the marriage of Frank and Mary was delayed until 1887 is unknown. DLB 2020.¹ She was the daughter of Francis Henton Heagler and Mary Nye. Margaret Nye married Harry C. Clark on 27 July 1898 at McLean Co., IL, no children. Margaret Nye died after June 1940 Mrs. Margaret Clark is listed as a child of Mary (Nye) Heagler in Mary's obituary in The Pantagraph, Tuesday, 11 JUN 1940, p.7 (Newspapers.com).

     Marion Twinkle Nye was born on 16 June 1883 at Dayton, Montgomery Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Quincy Nye and Caroline Adelia Clippinger.¹ Marion Twinkle Nye married Max Patek, son of Siegismund Patek and Wilhelmina (?), on 9 October 1909 at Milwaukee, Milwaukee Co., WI. Marion Twinkle Nye died on 25 July 1928 at Glencoe, Cook Co., IL, at age 45.

     Mary Nye was born in April 1861 at Illinois.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Nye and Eleanor King.^1,2 Mary Nye married Francis Henton Heagler, son of James Heagler and Samantha Jane Henton, on 8 December 1887 at McLean Co., IL.¹ Mary Nye died on 10 June 1940 at Bloomington, McLean Co., IL, at age 79. She was buried in June 1940 at Scogin Hill Cemetery, Bloomington, McLean Co., IL, Findagrave #36006781.

     Michael Nathaniel Nye was born on 1 February 1847 at Kosciusko Co., IN. He began military service Civil War service, Co. A, 74th Indiana Infantry. He married Eliza E. Patterson on 20 August 1874 at Marshall Co., IN. Michael Nathaniel Nye died on 19 February 1941 at Yakima, Yakima Co., WA, at age 94. He was buried in February 1941 at Fairmount Memorial Park, Spokane, Spokane Co., WA, Findagrave #61112050.

     Minnie Elizabeth Nye was born on 20 August 1883 at Norton Co., KS, teaching in public school.¹ She was the daughter of Michael Nathaniel Nye and Eliza E. Patterson. Minnie Elizabeth Nye married John William Roberts, son of Levi Roberts and Emma Catherine Horning, on 19 August 1909 at Spokane, Spokane Co., WA. Minnie Elizabeth Nye died on 20 December 1966 at San Bernardino Co., CA, at age 83.

     Roy Nye was born on 1 August 1907. He married Lillian Opal Stickley, daughter of James R. Stickley and Nellie M. Nelson, on 25 September 1965. Roy Nye died on 9 October 1966 at Cass Co., MI, at age 59. Cause of death: Crash of chartered airplane two miles northeast of Dowagiac, Michigan, which six people were killed, including pilot Roy Nye, his wife Lillian, and two other couples.

     Anna C. Nystrom was born on 16 February 1887 at Nebraska.^1,2 She married Friedrich Reibold on 5 May 1904 at Omaha, Douglas Co., NE, After Fred Sr.'s death in 1916, Anna remarried to Burton Marion Kirby on 8 FEB 1919, Mills County, Iowa. Anna C. Nystrom died in July 1964 at Omaha, Douglas Co., NE, at age 77.
