Mrs. MARY C. PRICE, widow of John E. Price, died at her residence, 202 East Church street, this morning. She would have been 83 years of age at her next birthday, having been born April 17, 1850. She lived practically all of her life in this city. Despite her advanced years she was very keen and alert even as her strength ebbed away during her recent illness.

She was a woman of fine Christian character, and was held in love and esteem by all who knew her. She was a life-long and active member of All Saints Episcopal church. Before her marriage to Mr. Price, who died some years ago, Mrs. Price was Miss Mary Catherine Ordeman.

She is survived by seven children: Mrs. Katharine S. Dechert, York, Pa; Mrs. Louise A. Appenzellar, New York city; Charles S. Price, Mrs. Grace T. Smith, Mrs. Mazie E. Emmert, Joseph B. Price and Osborne I. Price, of this city; and six grandchildren, Howard Dechert, York, Pa; Edgar Appenzellar, NY City; Charles S. Price, Jr., Jack P. Emmert, Joseph B. Price, Jr., and Osborne I. Price, Jr., this city; and one sister, Mrs. E.O. Hughes, Dickerson.

Funeral services were held at the late residence; interment was in Mt. Olivet cemetery; Harry E. Carty was the funeral director.

LAKE WORTH, Fla. - Rosemary Opphile, 81, of Lake Worth, Fla., passed away on February 22,2010 under the care of Edwinola Hospice House in Dade City, Florida. She was born and raised in Ohio, working at B.V.D. and Copeland Refrigeration before her retirement. Rosemary moved to Florida in 1985 and settled in Lake Worth.

She was a long time member of the Church of the Brethren in Piqua, and First Baptist Church of Lake Worth. She was preceded in death by her husband Lester in 2004.

Rosemary is survived by her daughter, Judy (Donald) Smith of Lutz, Florida, two grandchildren, Ken (Bonita) Smith and Craig (Elisa) Smith. She also leaves to cherish her memory four great-grandchildren: Dawn, Haley, Kailyn and Chloe.

She will be laid to rest with graveside services at 1 p.m. Thursday at Palm Beach Memorial Park, Lantana, Fla.

In lieu of flowers donations, in her memory, may be made to ARC of Palm Beach County.
