MYRON BOYD ORR, 96 of Eaton, OH, died Friday, December 26, 2014 at Vancrest Healthcare Center in Eaton. Born on September 27, 1918 in Israel Twp., Preble County, OH, he was the son of the late John Ewing & Iva Belle (Morrow) Orr. Myron was a retired Dixon Twp. Farmer. A 1935 Dixon Twp. High School graduate, Deacon Emeritus & lifelong member Concord United Church of Christ where he sang in the choir, and was the leader of the Sunday School Orchestra. He was a band member of the Dean Pottenger Band for 20 years and also played in the Farmers Band. He also is Director Emeritus of Eaton National Bank, having served for 20 years on the board.

Preceded in death by his Wife of 72 years: Mildred June (Dunlap) Orr in 2013.

Survived by Daughter and Son-in-law, Darlene Joyce and Charles Edward Semler of Chandler, Arizona and Son and Daughter-in-law, Donald Dean and Barbara Jane Orr of Eaton; Sister-in-law, Ruth Dunlap of Richmond, Indiana; Brother-in-law, Robert Ott of Eaton; Grandchildren, David Charles(Colleen) Semler of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Douglas Cary( Jamie) Semler of Leesburg, Virginia, Steven Donald (Dawn) Orr of Eaton and Linda Jane and (Craig) Farrell of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Concord United Church of Christ, 2225 Concord-Fairhaven Rd, Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Richard VanTine and Rev. James Sizelove officiating. Interment will be held in Concord Cemetery across from the church. Family will receive friends on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church.
