     Dora Belle Patton was born on 13 March 1878 at Firth, Lancaster Co., NE. She was the daughter of John Patton and Caroline Patton. Dora Belle Patton married Joshua Murfield Windle, son of Joseph Windle and Sarah Elizabeth Murfield, on 9 August 1894 at Lincoln, Lancaster Co., NE. Dora Belle Patton was graduated; Medical degree. She died on 6 May 1940 at McAlester, Pittsburg Co., OK, at age 62 OBITUARY:

5 May 1940 -- Mrs. Dora Belle Windle
Mrs. Dora Belle Windle, 62, died yesterday afternoon at her home in the Celestine community where she had lived for the last 26 years.
Mrs. Windle was born March 13, 1878 at Firth, Neb. She was married to Poshua (sp) M. Windle August 1894 at Hallam, Neb. and later moved to White City, Kans. where they resided for seven years. Since that time they have made their home at Celestine.
She is survived by her husband J. M. Windle, three sons, J. H. Windle Neosha Rapids Kans., Earl and Vern Windle of McAlester, and six daughters, Mrs. Cora E. Ingram of Hartshorne, Mrs. Merna Province and Mrs. Goldie Lenox of Ringling, Mrs. Eva Eider of Howe, Mrs. Elsie Head of McAlester, and Miss Vergie Windle of the home.
In addition to several grandchildren, she leaves a sister Mrs. Mit Burr of Marshalltown, Iowa, and three brothers, Jim Patton of Benkelman, Neb., Tom Patton of Willow Springs, Mo., and George Patton of Lawton.
Funeral services were being conducted at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the home with Rev. C. L. Johnston of Celestine officiating. Burial was to be at Hickory Grove Cemetery at Haywood under the direction of Chaney's funeral home.

She was buried in May 1940 at Hickory Grove Cemetery, Haywood, Pittsburg Co., OK.

     Earl Delmar Patton was born on 1 August 1895 at Asheville, Buncombe Co., NC. He married Dorothy Mayhew. Earl Delmar Patton died on 7 October 1969 at Brielle, Monmouth Co., NJ, at age 74. He was cremated in 1969 ashes scattered on Atlantic Ocean. Find A Grave Memorial# 66112864.

George Edgar Patton married Clara Olive Windle, daughter of Joseph Windle and Sarah Elizabeth Murfield, on 23 February 1893, Three children born, two living as of 1910 census.¹ George Edgar Patton died on 4 July 1950 at Lawton, Comanche Co., OK, at age 83. He was buried in July 1950 at Highland Cemetery, Lawton, Comanche Co., OK.

     George Edgar Patton was born on 2 December 1874 at Silver Creek, Burke Co., NC. He was the son of Joseph Patton and Anna Howard.
