     Robert Stanley Petty was born on 28 February 1903 at Carroll Co., IL. He was the son of Charles Petty and Della Ross. Robert Stanley Petty married Mabel Ruth Fulrath, daughter of Peter George Fulrath and Laura Elizabeth Oberheim, circa 1922 at Savanna, Carroll Co., IL. Mount Carroll -- Robert Petty, 76, of Mount Carroll, died Tuesday (January 1980, according to the Social Security Death Index) at Freeport Memorial Hospital following a short illness. He was a member of Mount Carroll United Methodist Church.

Born Feb. 28, 1903 in Carroll County, he was the son of Charles and Della (Ross) Petty. He married Dorothy Meyers July 29, 1961 in Mount Carroll. Surviving are his widow; two stepsons, Tom Meyers of Columbia, Md., and Steve Meyers of Boston, Mass; one step-daughter, Mrs. Judy (Robert) Duncan of Brandon, Fla; two grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren;; and two sisters, Mrs. Earl (Helen) Johnson of Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs. Margaret Adell of San Diego, Calif. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mabel and one son.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Frank Funeral Home in Mount Carroll with the Rev. Tony Hawkins, pastor of Mount Carroll United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Mount Carroll. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established for Mount Carroll United Methodist Church.

     Sarah Edna Petty was born on 13 April 1894. She was the daughter of Marion Petty and Lillian L. Larimore. Sarah Edna Petty married John Dunker on 15 November 1915. Sarah Edna Petty died on 9 March 1965 at age 70.

     Agnes Petura was also known as "Annischka". She was born in October 1879 at Racine Co., WI.¹ She married Frank Korbel. Agnes Petura died on 6 October 1967. She was buried in October 1967 at Bohemian National Cemetery, Caledonia, Racine Co., WI, Findagrave #105170567.

     Andrew Jackson Peugh was born in September 1863 at Washington Co., IN.¹ He was the son of Spencer Botts Peugh and Jane Logan.² Andrew Jackson Peugh married Mary Etta Peugh, daughter of Benjamin Franklin Peugh and Sarah A. Plummer, circa 1885. Andrew Jackson Peugh married Endora Alice Payne, daughter of Henry Rice Payne and Caroline Davis, circa 1888; two children born (Olivia and Bertha), both living as of 1910 census. Curtis Everett Peugh was apparently the son of Andrew J. Peugh from a prior relationship.^1,3 Andrew Jackson Peugh lived on 2 May 1910 at Salem, Washington Co., IN.³ He lived in 1915 at Hutchinson, Reno Co., KS.⁴ He married Lillis Gertrude Maddux after 1915.⁵ Andrew Jackson Peugh lived in January 1920 at 1801 North Main Street, Hutchinson, Reno Co., KS.⁵

     Benjamin Franklin Peugh was born on 28 February 1832 at Washington Co., IN.¹ He married Sarah A. Plummer on 20 September 1859 at Brownstown, IN.¹

     Bertha C. Peugh was born in December 1891 at Washington Co. (probably), IN.¹ She was the daughter of Andrew Jackson Peugh and Endora Alice Payne.¹

There is a strong possibility that Bertha, wife of Ralph Arthur Galloway, found in the 1920 census of Hutchinson (Ward 1), Kansas, the 1930 census of St. Louis (Dist. 26), Missouri, and the 1940 census of Washington, D.C. (ED 1-397) was Bertha Peugh. Cannot locate any further evidence at this date. They had a daughter Martha E. Galloway, born about 1919, who died in 2011 in California -- that death cert should show the mother's maiden name. DLB 2013.

     Curtis Everett Peugh was born on 1 September 1886 at Washington Co. (probably), IN, 1900 census shows 1885, WW I draft card shows 1886.¹ He was the son of Andrew Jackson Peugh and Mary Etta Peugh.¹ Occupation: Building contractor, self-employed in 1917. Curtis Everett Peugh lived in June 1917 at 31 East 13th Street, Hutchinson, Reno Co., KS. He lived between 1920 and 1930 at Hutchinson, Reno Co., KS.

     Mary Etta Peugh was born on 21 June 1864 at Washington Co., IN.¹ She was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Peugh and Sarah A. Plummer.¹ Mary Etta Peugh married Andrew Jackson Peugh, son of Spencer Botts Peugh and Jane Logan, circa 1885. Mary Etta Peugh died on 17 September 1886 at Washington Co., IN, at age 22.

     Olivia Esther Peugh was born in February 1889 at Washington Co. (probably), IN.¹ She was the daughter of Andrew Jackson Peugh and Endora Alice Payne.¹ Olivia Esther Peugh died on 19 November 1920 at age 31. She was buried in November 1920 at Crown Hill Cemetery, Salem, Washington Co., IN.

     Spencer Botts Peugh was born circa 1815 at Kentucky.¹ He married Jane Logan on 18 October 1838.¹ Spencer Botts Peugh died in 1890 at Washington Co., IN.

     Elizabeth Jane Pevehouse was born on 25 June 1845 at Brown Co., IN.¹ She married Ambrose Booten Ramey circa 1863.¹ Elizabeth Jane Pevehouse died in 1920. She was buried in 1920 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Omaha, Douglas Co., NE, Findagrave #73068208.

     Helen Glenn Pew married Clarence Walker Worst, son of Jacob Worst and Harriet McCausland Hughes. Helen Glenn Pew was born on 28 August 1897. She died on 18 May 1973 at age 75.

     Henry Pfaff was born in January 1828 at Hessen-Kassel, Germany.¹ He married Rebecca Miller on 25 September 1855 at St. Charles Co., MO. Occupation: Minister of the Gospel in 1870 at St. Louis, MO.¹ Occupation: farming in 1900 at Central Twp., St. Louis Co., MO.² Henry Pfaff died after 26 June 1900.

     Justus Davault Pfaff was also known as "Jack". He was born on 4 July 1909 at St. Louis, MO, WW II draft registration, or 11 July, per Missouri Birth Records, microfilm image, online at ancestry.com. He was the son of Justus M. Pfaff and Juliet Emma DaVault. Justus Davault Pfaff lived at St. Louis, MO. He died in December 1975 at age 66 per SSDI, last residence St. Louis.

     Justus M. Pfaff was born circa 1862 at Illinois headstone shows 1864, but 1870 census shows him at age 8 neatly centered between Julia, age 10, and Rebecca, age 6, with Henry (4) and Lawrence (5/12) completing the list of children. DLB 2019.¹ He was the son of Henry Pfaff and Rebecca Miller.¹ Justus M. Pfaff married Juliet Emma DaVault, daughter of Abraham DaVault and Medora E. Jones, on 12 June 1895. Justus M. Pfaff died on 16 August 1934 at St. Louis, MO. He was buried in August 1934 at Jonesburg City Cemetery, Jonesburg, Montgomery Co., MO, Findagrave #173733995.

     John Pfann was born on 5 December 1852 at Hungary.¹ He married Susanna Fanzier circa 1878.¹ John Pfann immigrated in 1887.¹ He died on 19 January 1912 at age 59. He was buried in January 1912 at Wyuka Cemetery, Nebraska City, Otoe Co., NE, Find A Grave Memorial# 117370646.

     Lena Pfann was born on 30 December 1891 at Otoe Co. (probably), NE.¹ She was the daughter of John Pfann and Susanna Fanzier.¹ Lena Pfann married Joseph Earl Windle, son of Joseph Windle and Anna Belle Price, on 21 April 1916 at Nebraska City, Otoe Co., NE. Lena Pfann died on 7 January 1993 at age 101. She was buried in January 1993 at Maple Cemetery, Salem, Richardson Co., NE, Findagrave #137662608.

     Adolph H. Pfau was born on 5 February 1887 at Grandenz, Germany. He married Helen Elizabeth Faulhaber, daughter of Theodore Robert Faulhaber and Mary Etta Barr, on 6 July 1915. Adolph H. Pfau died on 20 May 1961 at age 74.

     Aline Pfau was born on 24 June 1897. She married Forrest Benner, son of Albert Benner and Sarah Elizabeth Gebhart, on 6 August 1919. Aline Pfau died on 10 January 1984 at age 86.

     Alvin Earle Pfau was born on 10 May 1918 at Holyoke, Phillips Co., CO. He was the son of Adolph H. Pfau and Helen Elizabeth Faulhaber. Alvin Earle Pfau married Virginia Gurgacz on 8 November 1944.

     Audrey Marvin Pfau was born on 29 February 1920 at Holyoke, Phillips Co., CO. He was the son of Adolph H. Pfau and Helen Elizabeth Faulhaber. Audrey Marvin Pfau married Helen Marie Craig, daughter of Charles Craig and Janetta (?), on 14 November 1943. Audrey Marvin Pfau married Wilma Elaine Bobst on 22 May 1989. Audrey Marvin Pfau died on 6 August 1998 at Goodland, Sherman Co., KS, at age 78.

     Doris Arlene Pfau was born on 6 December 1926 at Holyoke, Phillips Co., CO. She was the daughter of Adolph H. Pfau and Helen Elizabeth Faulhaber. Doris Arlene Pfau married Walter Theodore Sandall circa 1947.

     Loren Alden Pfau was born on 11 June 1916 at Adams, Gage Co., NE. He was the son of Adolph H. Pfau and Helen Elizabeth Faulhaber. Loren Alden Pfau married Florence Violet Milan on 1 October 1941. Loren Alden Pfau died on 16 March 1999 at Holyoke, Phillips Co., CO, at age 82.

     Margaret Pfau was born on 20 August 1855 at Mt. Pulaski, Logan Co., IL. She married Friedrich Wilhelm August Lemme on 20 July 1872 at McLean Co., IL. Margaret Pfau died on 2 July 1922 at New Holland, Logan Co., IL, at age 66.

     Merle Ray Pfau was born on 17 October 1921 at Holyoke, Phillips Co., CO. He was the son of Adolph H. Pfau and Helen Elizabeth Faulhaber. Merle Ray Pfau married Betty Ann McBride on 13 November 1943.
