     Phoebe Josephine Phifer was born on 17 October 1871 at Dunreath, Marion Co., IA. She was the daughter of John Phifer and Mary Ellen Farris. Phoebe Josephine Phifer married George W. Buttrey, son of Timothy Buttrey and Sarah (?), on 27 March 1887 at Marion Co., IA. Phoebe Josephine Phifer died on 15 September 1946 at Red Rock, Marion Co., IA, at age 74.

     Sarah Lavicie Phifer was born on 3 September 1869 at Dunreath, Marion Co., IA. She was the daughter of John Phifer and Mary Ellen Farris. Sarah Lavicie Phifer married Aretia J. Reed on 5 June 1888 at Marion Co., IA, no children. Sarah Lavicie Phifer died on 13 October 1963 at Monroe, Jasper Co., IA, at age 94.

     William Phifer married Phoebe Ray.

Sarah Jane Philbrick married Lawson Walter Delancey, son of Stephen Delancey and Amanda Haga, on 29 October 1873 at Marion Twp., Linn Co., IA. Sarah Jane Philbrick lived on 2 July 1910 at Precinct 10, Cedar Co., NE, farming.¹ She died on 25 August 1920 at Benton Co., OR, at age 66. She was buried on 29 August 1920 at Riverside Cemetery, Albany, Linn Co., OR.

     Lydia Philbrook married Theodore Munson.

     Eulalie Louise Philibert married Howard Fahs Hoffmaster, son of Howard Fahs Hoffmaster and Lillie Guth, on 30 March 1918 at Houston, Harris Co., TX.¹

He married Aulene Violet Wolfe, daughter of Hartford Henry Wolfe and Violet Harriet Shepherd, on 17 December 1964 at Los Angeles Co., CA. Chester Joseph Phililps died on 14 August 1983 at Marin Co., CA, at age 68.

     Joseph Philippi was born circa 1847 at France. He married Almira Wolfrom on 18 May 1873 at Hancock Co., OH.

     Mary Elizabeth Philippi was born on 31 March 1874 at Ohio.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Philippi and Almira Wolfrom. Mary Elizabeth Philippi married William Oliver Leeper, son of John Franklin Leeper and Susanna Catharine Windle, circa 1894, Six children born, four living as of 1910 census.¹ Mary Elizabeth Philippi died in 1952. She was buried in 1952 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay, Hancock Co., OH, Findagrave #184291919.

     Virgie Elizabeth Philippi was born on 19 February 1902 at Clark Co., IN.¹ She married Lasson Bland Cole on 17 May 1921.

     Margaret E. Phillippi was born on 12 October 1892 at Pennsylvania. She married Charles Robert Bailey. Margaret E. Phillippi died on 13 April 1971 at Asheville, Buncombe Co., NC, at age 78. She was buried in April 1971 at Riverside Cemetery, Asheville, Buncombe Co., NC, Findagrave #36547083.

     Agatha Corene Phillips was born on 1 October 1923 at Sewal, Wayne Co., IA. She was the daughter of Edgar Lewis Phillips and Clora May Bettis. Agatha Corene Phillips married Edward Raymond Kalar, son of William H. Kalar and Elizabeth Viola Collins, on 10 April 1944 at Des Moines, Polk Co., IA, three additional children to this marriage. Agatha Corene Phillips died on 22 December 1993 at Oakland, Alameda Co., CA, at age 70.

     Almira Phillips was born circa 1842 at Sussex Co., NJ.¹ She was the daughter of Charles L. Phillips and Sarah A. (?)¹

     Andrew Phillips was born circa October 1849 at Sussex Co., NJ.¹ He was the son of Charles L. Phillips and Sarah A. (?)¹

     Note: Other research by Edna Skoog ( ednaskoog@msn.com) shows Samuel's second wife to be Ann Chapeler instead of Ann Philips. Ann remarried 4 years after the death of Samuel to Joseph Kenny. In courthouse proceedings, the executors of Samuel's estate recorded payments to Joseph Kenny for "boarding of children". Samuel and Margaret Evalina (from Samuel's first marriage) were sent to live with Michael and Mary Coyle. Will Book #2 WInchester Virginia... cash to Michael and Mary Coyle in behalf of Samuel and Evalina.
(Presumably the parents of Samuel's first wife Catherine Coyle, or otherwise closely related). Ann Phillips married Samuel Wendel, son of Samuel Wendel and Margaret Becker, circa 1813 at Frederick Co. (probably), VA. Ann Phillips died before 7 August 1889.

     Annie M. Phillips was born on 26 May 1887.¹ She was the daughter of Lewis A. Phillips and Mary L. Wagner.¹ Annie M. Phillips died before 1926.¹

     Bert Phillips was born in 1871 at Iowa.¹
Note: Adopted son of Daniel and Mary Phillips. 1880 census, Hancock County, Iowa, shows the birth states of his parents, indicating his father was also born in Vermont, same as Daniel Phillips -- possibly Bert's father was Daniel's brother.¹ He married Margaret Aitchison, daughter of John Robert Aitchison and Sarah Elizabeth Windell, on 26 August 1892 at Hancock Co., IA.¹ Bert Phillips died before 19 April 1910 at Hancock Co. (probably), IA.

     Bertha Mae Phillips was born on 17 February 1896 at Hancock Co. (probably), IA.¹ She was the daughter of Bert Phillips and Margaret Aitchison.¹ Bertha Mae Phillips married Roy J. Wooldridge on 10 July 1911. Bertha Mae Phillips died on 29 January 1978 at age 81.

     Bessie Phillips was born in October 1891 at Carroll Co., IL.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph A. Phillips and Mary Elizabeth Haynes.¹

     Bessie P. V. Phillips married Hayes S. Mullendore, son of Emery Alvin Mullendore and Minnie V. Wyand.¹ Bessie P. V. Phillips was born on 13 January 1899.¹

     Catherine Smith Phillips was born on 15 September 1770 at York Co., PA. She married Jacob Fetter. Catherine Smith Phillips died on 6 July 1813 at Carlisle, Cumberland Co., PA, at age 42.
