He married Saraph Glanville Silver, daughter of David Edwin Silver and Sarah Jane Tallman, on 25 December 1902 at Johnson Co., IA; George first married Myrtle Stella Anderson on 15 JAN 1896 at Western, Linn County. That marriage apparently broke up shortly after the June 1900 census, with no children. She remarried to David Dalton and had at least three children with him.
