STURKIE, ARKANSAS – Sherry Ann Neely of Sturkie, Arkansas, passed away July 19, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 72. She was born May 17, 1949 in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Edward and Iris Basil Price. She married Dannie in 1965, in Kansas. Sherry lived in Sturkie since moving from Kansas in 1987. She enjoyed gardening, horses, and animals.

Sherry is survived by her son, Dannie (Keri) Neely of Gassville, AR; daughter Wendy Neely of Sturkie, AR; step-son Shawn Michael Neely of West Memphis, AR; two grandchildren, Sean Neely and Meaghan Neely; three brothers, Edward (Karlin) Price, Jr. Of Topeka, KS, Eldon (Mary) Price of Topeka, KS, and Brian Price of Topeka, KS.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, David Michael Price.

A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be 2:30 pm, Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Eric Bowman officiating. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.

Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.

Price married Eliza Ann Grubb, daughter of Henry Grubb and Ann Krause, circa 1850.¹ Simeon H. Price married Henrietta Marx, daughter of Samuel Marx and Magdalena Biery, after 1853.¹ Simeon H. Price died on 23 July 1872 at age 45.¹

     Sophia Price was Church of the Brethren.² She was born on 12 March 1830 at Lower Salford Twp., Montgomery Co., PA.¹ She was the daughter of Rev. William W. Price and Mary Reiff.¹ Sophia Price married Ignatius Kern, son of Morris Kern and Magdalena Fry, on 9 January 1852.² Sophia Price died on 29 October 1915 at age 85.²

     Sophia Price was born circa 1819 at Montgomery Co., PA.^1,2 She was the daughter of William Lederach Price and Hannah Keeley.¹ Sophia Price married William Van Sant circa 1838.¹

     Starling W. Price was born on 19 July 1895 at Henderson Co., KY.¹ He was the son of Sterling Worth Price and Mary Stewart Starling.¹ Starling W. Price married Barbara Harmon, daughter of Philip Keep Harmon and Bertha Beadle, on 7 June 1924 at Denver, Denver Co., CO. Starling W. Price died in 1946 at Denver, CO. He was buried in 1946 at Fairmount Cemetery, Denver, Denver Co., CO, Findagrave #29134675.

     Starling Worth Price was born on 3 March 1925 at Denver, Denver Co., CO. He was the son of Starling W. Price and Barbara Harmon. Starling Worth Price married Rosemary Dolan, daughter of James Henry Dolan and Edith M. Donohue, Four children to this marriage. Starling Worth Price died on 5 August 1978 at Minneapolis, Hennepin Co., MN, at age 53.

     Stella W. Price was Methodist Episcopal. She was born on 1 August 1881 at Polo, Ogle Co., IL.¹ She was the daughter of George W. Price and Sophia Bamborough. Stella W. Price married Elmer E. Eldridge, son of Eli Eldridge and Emma Widney, in August 1904, Ceremony by Rev. W. E. McLennan.¹ Stella W. Price lived in 1926 at Evanston, Cook Co., IL (last known).

     Sterling Worth Price was born on 26 August 1864 at Russelville, Logan Co., KY, or 1863 per 1900 census.¹ He was the son of William Church Price and Sarah E. Watkins. Sterling Worth Price married Mary Stewart Starling, daughter of Edmund Lyne Starling and Mary Belle Stewart, circa 1894.¹ Sterling Worth Price died on 5 January 1946 at Henderson, Henderson Co., KY, at age 81. He was buried in January 1946 at Fernwood Cemetery, Henderson, Henderson Co., KY, Findagrave #90416506.

     Steven L. Price was born on 23 October 1946 at Tacoma, Pierce Co., WA. He was the son of Delmar Keith Price and Helen Vera Henriksen. Steven L. Price died on 26 July 2019 at Bella Bella, British Columbia, Canada, at age 72.

     Susan Price was born on 5 December 1807 at Franklin Co., PA. She was the daughter of Rev. Jacob Price and Susanna Baker. Susan Price married David Emmert, son of Pastor John Emmert and Nancy Avey, in 1825.¹ Susan Price died on 8 July 1888 at Kansas at age 80.¹ She was buried in July 1888 at Evergreen Cemetery, Ft. Scott, Bourbon Co., KS, Findagrave #74668754.

     Susan Price lived at Richmond, Franklin Co., KS. She was born on 27 June 1863 at Waynesboro, Franklin Co., PA.¹ She was the daughter of Jacob E. Price and Mary Emma Ziegler. Susan Price married David R. Sisler, son of Michael Sisler and Barbara (?), on 18 February 1890 at Dallas Center, Dallas Co., IA.¹

     Susan Price was also known as Sudie. She was born on 30 September 1867.¹ She was the daughter of Abram Emmert Price and Elizabeth Stover. Susan Price died on 9 October 1871 at age 4.¹

     Note: Susannah was apparently in poor mental or physical health, or both, at the time her father's will was written in 1822, as it had a special provision for handling her share of his estate and made reference to her "Circumstances".¹
