     Henry Robinson was born on 1 February 1824 at Cumberland Co., NJ.¹ He was the son of James Robinson and Priscilla Crippen.¹ Henry Robinson married Lavinia S. Price, daughter of Prof. John Price and Sarah Swartley, on 24 March 1850.¹ Henry Robinson died on 11 January 1895 at age 70 Mr. Robinson was born in Cumberland Co., N.J., of French and Welsh parents who died when he was quite small. He was taken to Delaware City to live with a sister; running away he became an errand boy in Philadelphia, later had a candy stand along the street, then an Oil Cloth stand; from that he became an apprentice in the Custom Tailor trade. After acquiring this he worked in Skippack, Doylestown, Hilltown, and Line Lexington where in the latter place he started in business himself.
Soon after his marriage he attended a public sale where the auctioneer failed to make his appearance and Mr. Robinson took his place, acquitting himself so well that his services were greatly in demand and for 43 years he followed that line of work and auctioned 10,950 sales.
Mr. Robinson was six feet tall, weighed 365 pounds and had a wonderful voice which could be heard for one mile with the wind. When he quit tailoring, he had many unpaid bills on his books, many of them for wedding suits. He never sued out any of these bills, preferring to lose them.¹

     Hosea Berton Robinson was born on 17 October 1888 at Stock Twp., Noble Co., OH.¹ He was the son of James Robinson and Thursa A. (?)¹ Hosea Berton Robinson married Rachel Lavanna Rhinehart, daughter of George Rhinehart and Junia Ann Morris, on 16 April 1910 at Mt. Ephraim, Noble Co., OH. Hosea Berton Robinson died on 13 May 1969 at Cambridge, Guernsey Co., OH, at age 80.

     Note: Inez was previously married to Hershel Budlong, and they had at least two children. Inez Lottie Robinson was born on 1 July 1907 at McNairy Co., TN. She was the daughter of Madison Robinson and Ella Flowers. Inez Lottie Robinson married Brodie Weldon Annis, son of Douglas Alexander Annis and Dornea M. Sigmon, on 9 June 1953 at Franklin Co., TN. Inez Lottie Robinson died in December 1988 at age 81.
