     Survivors include three daughters, Anna Mary Everhart of Guntersville, Ala., Jane Canter of Sebring, Fla., and Naomi Page Bray of Clarksville; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Bernice Iselene Hagest, 97, of Charlestown, will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 17, at Scott Funeral Home, 921 Main Street, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery, both in Jeffersonville. She died Friday, June 14, 2002, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Borden, and a retired nurse from Clark County Hospital, after 27 years. She was a member of Park Place United Methodist Church, where she also served as a Sunday School teacher; a 50-year volunteer of the American Red Cross, a recipient of the "Jump Award," the "Rotary Award," a member of AARP, and The Jolly Sixties.
Survivors include daughters, Anna Mary Everhart, Guntersville, Ala., Jane Canter, Sebring, Fla., and Naomi Page Bray, Clarksville; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Hagest, and her parents, Frank and Susie Jackson Roerk.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 16, at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Park Place United Methodist Church or Springdale United Methodist Church, both in Jeffersonville, or Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Borden.

GLASGOW — David Paul Roerk, 43, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008, at his residence.
Born in Jeffersonville, Ind., he was the son of Paul E. Roerk of Nebraska and Elizabeth Florence Cawthorn (Lowell) of Glasgow. Mr. Roerk was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Teresa Thomas Roerk of Glasgow; a daughter, Sara Elizabeth Marie Roerk; two step children: Christine Rudenga and Jerrie Terry; four grandchildren: Justin Welsh, Tayshaun Martin, Faith England and Caleb Anorve; a brother: Michael Roerk; and two sisters: Anna Northern and Michelle Cawthorn.
Mr. Roerk chose cremation and a private memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

     Frank Miller Roerk was born on 21 April 1874 at New Albany, Floyd Co., IN. He was the son of Bernard Franklin O'Roerk and Mary Elizabeth Myers. Frank Miller Roerk married Susanna Jackson, daughter of Zephania Jackson and Margaret Jane Jackson, on 3 March 1896 at Clark Co., IN. Frank Miller Roerk began military service on 12 September 1918 WW I Draft registration. He died on 14 April 1928 at Borden, Clark Co., IN, at age 53.

     Herman Henry Roerk was also known as "Dink". He was born on 15 November 1901 at Clark Co. (probably), IN. He was the son of Frank Miller Roerk and Susanna Jackson. Herman Henry Roerk married Louise Carter. Herman Henry Roerk died in December 1957 at age 56. He was buried in 1957 at Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Jeffersonville, Clark Co., IN.

     Jesse Marvin Roerk was also known as "Bub". He was born on 24 February 1914 at Clark Co., IN. He was the son of Frank Miller Roerk and Susanna Jackson. Jesse Marvin Roerk married Katie Inez Puckett after April 1940. Jesse Marvin Roerk married Beatrice Joy Whitaker. Jesse Marvin Roerk died in December 1993 at age 79.

     JEFFERSONVILLE -- Joseph H. Roerk, 31, died Thursday afternoon at Fisher, where he moved three weeks ago. An employee of the navy Ordnance department, he was a native of Speed and had lived in Jeffersonville, where he was a member of Clark Masonic Lodge and Wall Street Methodist church.
     Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Sue Roerk; a daughter, Sharon Roerk and a son, Tommy Roerk, both at home; a brother, Paul Roerk of Fort Knox, Ky., and his mother, Mrs. Louise Roerk of Jeffersonville.
     The body will be at the Scott Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Friday. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with burial in the Walnut Ridge cemetery.

Minnie Evelyn Roerk married Harold W. Rauch before 1970. Minnie Evelyn Roerk died on 14 February 1970 at Amherst, Hampshire Co., MA, at age 72.

     Nina Margarite Roerk was born on 11 July 1909 at Clark Co. (probably), IN. She was the daughter of Frank Miller Roerk and Susanna Jackson. Nina Margarite Roerk married Glen Ormal Blankenbaker, son of Troy Blankenbaker and Laura Donahue. Nina Margarite Roerk lived in April 1940 at 724 North 27th Street, Billings, Yellowstone Co., MT. She died on 26 September 1999 at Monticello, Piatt Co., IL, at age 90.

     Peggy Ann Roerk was born after 1940. She was the daughter of Jesse Marvin Roerk and Katie Inez Puckett. Peggy Ann Roerk died on 3 July 1961.

     Victor Clarence Roerk was born on 7 November 1899 at Borden, Clark Co., IN. He was the son of Frank Miller Roerk and Susanna Jackson. Victor Clarence Roerk married Jenny Laura Rhudy, daughter of Charles Thomas Rhudy and Julia Lille Lockhart McCain. Victor Clarence Roerk died on 7 January 1969 at Christian Co., KY, at age 69.

     Victor Clarence Roerk Jr. was born on 3 December 1926 at Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY. He was the son of Victor Clarence Roerk and Jenny Laura Rhudy. Victor Clarence Roerk Jr. began military service WW II, U.S. Army, enlisted 27 jun 1945 at Louisville. He married Fredericka Hall, daughter of Fred Hall and Savannah (?).
