She was a member of Park Place United Methodist Church, where she also served as a Sunday School teacher; a 50-year volunteer of the American Red Cross, a recipient of the "Jump Award," the "Rotary Award," a member of AARP, and The Jolly Sixties.
Survivors include daughters, Anna Mary Everhart, Guntersville, Ala., Jane Canter, Sebring, Fla., and Naomi Page Bray, Clarksville; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Hagest, and her parents, Frank and Susie Jackson Roerk.
