Benjamin Webb Starr was born on 27 December 1814 at Harrison Co., VA. He was the son of Moses John Starr and Elizabeth Webb. Benjamin Webb Starr married Julian Ann Lowe on 31 October 1833. Benjamin Webb Starr married Matilda Jane Popejoy, daughter of Christopher Edward Popejoy and Sarah Bowers, on 16 February 1843. Benjamin Webb Starr died on 20 January 1899 at Chester Twp., Wells Co., IN, at age 84. He was buried in January 1899 at Grove Cemetery, Wells Co., IN.

"...Caleb Starr ran a mill in Evansville, Arkansas with his wife Nannie, the granddaughter of the famed Nancy Ward. Caleb was said to always keep a silo filled with corn or grain for the widows and orphans and for travellers needing help. He and Nannie must have come out in about 1825 to live on the edge of Arkansas with what are called the "Old Settlers." Many of these people were Indian women married to white men which would include them."

John BELL and Charlotte ADAIR; and married, third, on 22
May 1877 to Mary A. BLACKBURN, born on 1818; died on 21
September 1878; buried at Starr Spring cemetery, Stillwell,

viii. Joseph McMinn STARR, born on 1 January 1808 at TN; died on

Caleb Starr III married Betsy Keith, daughter of Johnson Keith and Sallie Sixkiller, circa 1850. Caleb Starr III died on 13 January 1886 at Sallisaw, Sequoyah District, Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory, at age 64. He was buried in January 1886 at Buffington Cemetery, Sallisaw, Sequoyah Co., OK.
