Leo Elmond Scott, 68, 512 Woodlawn Ave., died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 1991, at St. John's Hospital.
Mr. Scott was a veteran of World War II. He taught at all levels of learning and retired as elementary school principal in Salina after 36 years. He was a member of the University United Methodist Church, the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the NEA, the K-NEA, the NEA-R, the American Association of Retired Persons, Pi Delta Kappa, the Kansas Educators Club, Big Brothers of America and was past president of Sunflower Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Louise of the home; two daughters, Susan Elaine Scott of Chadron, Neb., and Myra Jo Opdyke of Shawnee; a brother, James Cloyd of Logan; two sisters, Betty Lou Voss of Hill City and Neva Lee Riemann of Derby; and two grandchildren.

He was buried in January 1991 at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Salina, Salina Co., KS.
