RAUB—Mrs.Stella (Shonkwiler) Portteus, 88, died of a heart ailment in her home here Thursday.

Born at Raub, she spent all her life in this community. In 1896 she married Josiah Portteus, who died in 1953.

Mrs.Portteus was a life member of the Raub Methodist church.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs.Stanley Guard of Raub, & Mrs.C.Allen Minor, of Azusa, Calif; a son, Harold of Raub; & a sister, Mrs.Mae Goshorn of Terre Haute.
