Tipton -- A suit for divorce was filed in the district court here Friday by Kathryn Moubry of Durant against Faye Moubry. The plaintiff charges her husband with cruel and inhuman treatment and alleges that he is an habitual drunkard. On July 20 of this year, she says, her husband took their 3-year-old daughter and refuses to return her. She seeks the custody of the child and alimony.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Crabtree, Anthony and Houston Munsinger, Billy Beamer, Robert Luce, Dwain Modisette, Tom Keith and Brandon Bridges.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, at Autry Funeral Home.

DIES IN LAWRENCEVILE
Mrs. Clara D. Molt-Murphy, 82, the former Mrs. Charles Molt, of this city, passed away Thursday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Will Thorn, in Lawrenceville. She had been ill thirty days.
Funeral services were conducted in Lawrenceville Sunday afternoon, after which the remains were brought to Fairfield and laid to rest in the Maple Hill Cemetery beside Mr. Molt. Short services were held at the graveside.
Surviving are two sons, Clyde Molt, of Olney and Dr. Fred S. Molt, of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Mrs. Thorn, of Lawrenceville, and two brothers, J.H. Sidwell of Fairfield (next line is illegible due to fold in paper), and two sisters, Mrs. J.R. Bath (?) and Mrs. E. E. Willards both of Greenville, Texas.
Mrs. Thorn was unable to attend the funeral, having been confined to the Good Samaritan hospital in Vincennes, Ind. for more than a month with two broken limbs suffered in a recent automobile accident.

She was buried in February 1941 at Maple Hill Cemetery, Fairfield, Wayne Co., IL.
