Lodival Cynthia Snapp married Wendell Daniel Snapp, son of Abraham Snapp Jr. and Matilda Sevier Wendel, on 15 October 1868 at Greene Co., TN; ceremony by Rev. S. V. McCorkle. Madison Charles Snapp married Mary E. Falls, daughter of Jane (?), on 23 September 1839 at Washington Co., TN. Madison Charles Snapp was buried in February 1889 at Payne Cemetery, Polk Co., MO. He died on 28 February 1889 at Bolivar, Polk Co., MO, at age 77.

Madison SNAPP was born February 26th, 1832 at Memphis, Tennessee and died at Ozawkie, Kans., Sept. 21, 1916, aged 84 yrs., 6 mos., 25 days.

Mr. SNAPP went from Tennessee to Illinois and from there to Missouri and Kansas while a young man, and the greater part of his life has been spent in the vicinity of Ozawkie, where he was known as one of the old settlers.

February 29, 1854, he was united in marriage with Martha Ann Francis at Davenport (sic), Iowa. To this union were born 7 children, 4 sons and 3 daughers, of whom three with their mother preceded him in death.

The surviving children are: Mrs. Carrie Steffey, Valley Falls; Newton Snapp and Mrs. Dora Cain of Ozawkie, and Mrs. Belle Kershaw of New York. Ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and two brothers and two sisters also survive and mourn his death.

His long stay in this community has won him a large circle of friends who share the sorrows of his relatives.

Fifty years of his life have been a Christian experience, he having held membership with different bodies and was a member of the S.D.A. church at the time of his death and went to rest in the comforting hope of a resurrection to life eternal.

The funeral was held from the Advent church at Ozawkie last Saturday at 11 a.m., Rev. W.H. Clark officiating. Burial in Ozawkie cemetery.

He was buried in September 1916 at Ozawkie Cemetery, Ozawkie, Jefferson Co., KS, Findagrave #24754180.

Margaret Vivoliene Snapp lived on 30 August 1870 at P.O. Leadvale, Jefferson Co., TN.³ She lived on 1 June 1880 at Greene Co., TN, with her parents.² She died on 20 June 1928 at Morristown, Hamblen Co., TN, at age 88.
