     Lila Marion Staff was born on 29 November 1923 at Maquoketa, Jackson Co., IA; daughter of Walter and Hilda (Dogue) Staff of Maquoketa. She married John Henry Noll, son of Charles Washington Noll and Helen Esther Arnold, on 7 November 1942 at Camp Crowder Chapel, South of Neosho, MO; this marriage appears to have been over by 1982 when Lila died -- John is not mentioned in her obituary.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS - Lila Staff Noll, 58, Schaumburg, died in her home Wednesday after a sudden illness.

She was employed as a clerk by the Illinois Department of Transportation.

Survivors include two daughters, Sue Hertzberg, Chicago, and Debra Nichols, Louisville, Ky; and three sisters, Arlene Kocher, Rockton, and Shirley Greer and Barbara Staff, both of Rockford.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Lauterberg-Oehler Funeral Home, Arlington Heights.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Arlington Memorial Park, Rockford.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Carrie Lou Stafford lived on 11 June 1900 at Civil District 12, Washington Co., TN, with her husband and children on her parents' farm.¹ She died on 14 March 1933 at age 56. Death certificate shows 1885.¹ She was the daughter of Erastus Stuart Stafford and Sarah Jane Croix.¹ Edna Agnes Stafford married Albert Maywood Sonner, son of William Henry Sonner and Margaret A. Vincent. Edna Agnes Stafford died on 3 January 1975 at Bridgewater Home for the Aging, Bridgewater, Rockingham Co., VA, at age 88. She was buried in January 1975 at Riverview Cemetery, Strasburg, Shenandoah Co., VA, Findagrave #24804682.

     Erastus Stuart Stafford was born in October 1856 at Giles Co., VA.¹ He married Sarah Jane Croix on 7 October 1875 at Giles Co., VA. Erastus Stuart Stafford lived in June 1900 at Walkers Creek Magisterial District, Giles Co., VA, farming.¹ He died on 19 January 1943 at Glade Spring, Washington Co., VA, at age 86.
