He and Ethel R. Russell were divorced before January 1920. Alfred William Stanley died in January 1934 at age 47.

     Barnabas C. Stanley was born on 24 August 1809 at Guilford Co., NC.¹ He married Martha Hitchcock on 4 December 1831 at Washington Co., IN. Barnabas C. Stanley died on 16 January 1897 at Blue River, Washington Co., IN, at age 87.

     Brunetta Stanley was born on 20 March 1881 at Missouri.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Reuben Stanley and Melvina Simpson.² Brunetta Stanley married Rev.      Cora Alice Stanley was born in February 1867 at Mercer Co., MO. She was the daughter of John James Stanley and Sarah Ellen Norcross. Cora Alice Stanley married James Riley Hughes, son of John M. Hughes and Priscilla Baker. Cora Alice Stanley died on 2 July 1952 at Fayetteville, Washington Co., AR, at age 85 Obituary (findagrave.com):

Mrs. Cora Alice Hughes, 85, died yesterday after an extended illness. She had lived in Fayetteville since 1891, coming here from her home in Princeton, Mo., her birthplace. She resided at 220 West North Street, and was the widow of the late James Riley Hughes. Survivors are three sons, L. C. of Philadelphia, D. S. of Memphis and H. L. of the home; three daughters, Mrs. J. L. Burtis of the home, Miss Anna Hughes of Tuscon, Ariz., and Mrs. Jewel Bushey of New York City; one brother, J. H. Standley (s/b Stanley) of Springfield, Mo., and a grandson, James St. John Hughes of Wilmington, Del.
Funeral Service will be conducted Saturday at 4 p.m., at Nelson Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery.
