Seventy-five Years Old Man Died Thurday at Home in Lynn.

Samuel H. Betts, 75,died at his home in Lynn at 10 a.m. Thursday.

Survivors are the wife, Edna Belle;six daughters, Hazel Wood of Richmond, Lela Curtis of Jeffersonville, Betty Hartzler of Richmond, Marie Rudy of Phoenix, Ariz., Esther Collings of Anderson, In., Garnet Rupe of Fountain City: two sons, Wilbert and Serrel both of Lynn; three brothers, Noah of Morgantown and Alva of Eldorado, Ohio, and Edward of Ocean View, Del; one sister, Mrs. Will Smith of Modoc; and 14 grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Thomas mortuary at Lynn.

News of the death of her brother, Milton Betz, 28, graduate of Central High school, was received late Friday night by Mrs. C. B. Selig, of 1202 E. Elm-st. Betz died in Appleton, Wis.

In addition to Mrs. Selig, Betz is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Betz of the Berryman-addn, another sister, Mrs. Edward Penn of Lima, and one brother, Richard Betz, Jr., of Lima. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

Richard Betz, Lima Route 3, died of a heart attack at 3 p.m. Monday. He was stricken while walking at the intersection of High-st and Central-av and was dead when aid arrived.

Betz, a carpenter contractor, is survived by his wife, Alice; five daughter, Mrs. Clifford Selig, 1202 E. Elm-st; Mrs. Milton Weixelbaum, Rockford, Ill; Mrs. Edward Penn, 953 E. High-st; Mrs. Roy Bowers, Columbus Grove; Mrs. Bert Truesdale, Buckland; three sons, Russel, Hubert and Richard Betz, Jr., all of Appleton, Wisc; 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one brother, Frank, of Celina.

The body will be removed from the Davis-Miller and Son funeral home to the residence Tuesday afternoon and returned for services at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. E. J. Penhorwood, pastor of the South Side Church of Christ, in charge. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
