Elsie Miller White died on 4 February 2003 at Covington, St. Tammany Par., LA, at age 79 Obituary (findagrave.com):

Elsie White Garwood, age 79, of Covington, Louisiana and formerly of Clifton Forge, Virginia died Monday, February 3, 2003.
She was born in Johnson City, Tennessee on April 3, 1923 a daughter of the late Robert J. and Effie Miller White.
Mrs. Garwood was a retired Registered Nurse from the C&O Hospital and was a member of the Clifton Forge Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara G. and John Karpa of Covington, LA; one sister, Anna Ruth White Farnsworth of Johnson City, TN; one brother, Paul R. White of Roanoke, VA; two grandsons, Geoffrey R. Karpa and Sean M. Karpa both of Covington, LA and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Snead Garwood in 1995; one son, Robert Allen Garwood; and a sister, Grace W. Schull.

She was buried in February 2003 at Mountain View Cemetery, Clifton Forge, Alleghany Co., VA, Find A Grave Memorial# 31618597.

     Emma N. White was born in May 1853 at Ohio.1 She was the daughter of Judge William White and Rachel Stout.2 Emma N. White married Robert Cochran Rodgers, son of James Linn Rodgers and Hettie Burd Cochran, on 30 December 1879. Emma N. Mrs. Emma White Rodgers Succumbs While in East
Funeral services for Mrs. Emma White Rodgers, who died Saturday in New York City, will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul C. Martin on E. High st. at 3 p.m. Monday. Burial will be made in Ferncliff cemetery.
Mrs. Rodgers was a former resident of this city and the widow of Robert C. Rodgers. She had lived in New York City for the last two years.
She was the daughter of the late Judge William White, for many years a judge of the supreme court of Ohio, and a sister of the late Judge Charles R. White, formerly judge of the common pleas court of Clark County. Her husband, who preceded her in death, was a local attorney.
Mrs. Rodgers was for many years a member of the Second Presbyterian Church, and continued as a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church upon its formation after the merger.
A few years ago she moved to New York, where her two sons, William White Rodgers and James Linn Rodgers, her only immediate survivors, reside.

She was buried in November 1930 at Ferncliff Cemetery, Springfield, Clark Co., OH, Find A Grave Memorial# 35819074.

FRANK FRETTER WHITE f35 died peacefully in Naples, Florida on Sept. 14. Frank was a graduate of Harvard College. As vice president of the S. K. Wellman Company in Cleveland, he was a pioneer in the field of powder metallurgy products and held 15 patents. In 1956, he founded Automation Development Corporation where he designed, built and installed automation systems for General Motors, Whirlpool, Owens Corning, Rohm and Haas and many other corporations.
Frank was a life member of the Amateur Satellite Corporation. He was also an avid sailor and designed and built his own sailboat, Tigress, and was in the Winners' Circle in Bermuda Races in 1948 and 1952 and in 15 Mackinac races. He also enjoyed white water rafting in the Yukon, Salmon, Colorado and New Rivers. Frank was a member of Port Royal, the Naples Yacht and the Hole in the Wall Golf Clubs in Naples and a past member of the Union Club, Tavern Club and the Kirtland Country Club in Cleveland.
Frank was predeceased by his first wife, Benita; three children, Frank Jr., Peter and Margaret White; and stepson James Clarke Bearden. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor and daughters Pamela K. White and Benita Barnes Cozzens.


Note: Frank's first wife and their three deceased children all died on April 6, 1962.
