Col. Dallas G. Warne

     Col. Dallas G. Warne was born on 13 November 1894. He married Eulalia Seright. Col. Dallas G. Warne began military service Served in both World Wars. Retired at the rank of Colonel, U.S. Army Quartermaster Corps. He died on 18 December 1962 at age 68 Obituary (Findagrave.com):

Dallas G. Warne, 68, of Tipton route, 4, succumbed unexpectedly at 5:45 a.m. today in Tipton county Hospital where he had been admitted Sunday. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from Hobbs Christian Church with Rev. Joseph stump officiating and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Leatherman-Morris Funeral Home or at the church where the body will lie in state for one hour prior to services. Mr. Warne was born near Hobbs Nov. 13, 1894, son of Charles H. and Ida (Hobbs) Warne. He was married Dec. 26, 1915 in Tipton to the former Eulalia Seright and the couple had moved to the Hobbs area in 1955. He was a member of the Hobbs Christian church, Austin Lodge 128, F & A.M., the Indianapolis Scottish Rite, a retired Colonel in the U.S. Army and had retired from service with the Veterans administration in 1951. He had served in both World Wars. Survivors include the wife, two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Ava Lee) Lewis, of Ellsworth Air Force base in South Dakota and Mrs. Georgia Lee Petty , of McCarroll, Illinois; a son, John C. Warne, of Dearborn, Michigan; two brothers, Kelsie R. Warne, of Greencastle and Allan H. Warne, of Indianapolis and nine grandchildren.

He was buried in December 1962 at Fairview Cemetery, Tipton, Tipton Co., IN.

     Georgia Lou Warne was born on 24 July 1925 at Tucson, Pima Co., AZ. She was the daughter of Col. Dallas G. Warne and Eulalia Seright. Georgia Lou Warne married Donald Robert Petty, son of Robert Stanley Petty and Mabel Ruth Fulrath. Georgia Lou Warne died on 18 July 2011 at Rockford, Winnebago Co., IL, at age 85. She was buried in July 2011 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Mt. Carroll, Carroll Co., IL, Findagrave #134987270.

Alva Louis Warner lived on 29 April 1940 at Orchard Home Precinct, Jackson Co., OR, W.P.A. laborer.1 He lived in April 1942 at Medford, Jackson Co., OR, WW II draft registration. He married Elma Hazel Farris on 19 June 1945 at Jackson Co., OR. Alva Louis Warner died on 26 January 1982 at Douglas Co., OR, at age 87.
