Davenport-- Funeral services for Vera M. Honts, Davenport, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport. Mrs. Honts died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, at her home.

Vera Margaret Strong was born Sept. 18, 1919, the daughter of Harry J. and Loretta "Lottie" (Sterling) Strong in Davenport. She was united in marriage to Richard Honts on November 11, 1950. Vera most enjoyed touring the country in her car.

Survivors include her son, David Honts, Iowa City; and a nephew , Brian (Terri) Doran and their daughters, Julie and Kathleen, Davemport.
