     Peter Tallman was born on 22 March 1658 at Portsmouth, Newport Co., Rhode Island Colony. He was the son of Peter Tallman and Ann Hill. Peter Tallman married Ann Walstone Wright, daughter of Benjamin Wright, on 7 November 1683 at Newport Co., RI. Occupation: Cordwainer and physician of Guilford, Connecticut.
Note: Peter Tallman sold the land near Dragon Swamp that had belonged to his maternal uncle Robert Hill of Rappahannock Co. (later Essex Co.) Virginia.

A physician, he also pursued the occupation of shoemaker. 1683 he
resided at Guilford, CT; freeman 1685 1715, Deputy. 1722, Jul. 27; Will proved
1726, Jul. 27: Exx. wife Anna. To her all household goods, and for her use
and disposal stock of cattle, horses, sheep and swine (except one black horse
to son Ebenezer).
