     Note: Julia was undoubtedly the daughter of either James or William Blevins, listed on page 319 of the 1830 census of Sullivan County, Tennessee. James had one daughter between 15 and 20 years old, and William had two daughters in that age range. DLB 2017. Julia Ann Blevins was born on 31 August 1812 at Tennessee per headstone. 1850 census (taken in October) suggests 1814 birth year.¹ She married John Davalt, son of Gabriel DeWalt and Magdalena Kitzmiller, on 21 March 1833 at Tennessee. Retired from Frank Hall Tire Company after 32 years of service; member of Roebuck Presbyterian Church, a former Deacon and Sunday School teacher; a past member of the Spartanburg Lions Club, worked part time as a musician with local dinner and dance banks, and was an avid work worker and craftsman.

Graveside services were held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2001 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by Dr. Fred D. Thompson and the Rev. Lee Moseley.
