               WILT
Mrs. David E. Stem, of Sam's Creek, this county, received a telegram on Wednesday last announcing the death of her brother, George W. Wilt of near Shellsburg, Iowa. Although the deceased was 82 years old, yet the sad news was quite a shock to his relations and friends in this county, as he visited here last fall for about a month and at that time was enjoying good health. His death leaves Mrs. Stem as the only surviving member of the Wilt family, which was a large one. The deceased was formerly a resident of this county, living near Jewsburg, now Marston, having left here 34 years ago for Iowa. During these years he was a constant subscriber to the Advocate.
