Elizabeth Underhill married Joseph Sullivant, son of Lucas Sullivant and Sarah Starling, on 8 December 1852.¹ Elizabeth Underhill lived on 2 June 1900 at 24 Hoffman Avenue, Columbus, Franklin Co., OH.² Cause of death: in 1903 Cerebral hemmorrhage. She died on 14 March 1903 at age 71.³ She was buried in 1903 at Green Lawn Cemetery, Lot P, Columbus, Franklin Co., OH, Findagrave #15302708.

     Elizabeth Underhill was born in 1751 at Matinecock, Long Island, NY.¹ She was the daughter of John Underhill and Rebecca Frost.¹ Elizabeth Underhill died in 1752 at Matinecock, Long Island, NY.¹

     Elizabeth Underhill was born on 2 May 1669 at Killingworth, Flushing, Queens Co. (now), NY. She was the daughter of Capt. John Underhill and Elizabeth Feake. Elizabeth Underhill married Isaac Smith in 1689. Elizabeth Underhill died after 1747.

Richard Alsop in 1685.¹ Hannah Underhill died on 23 August 1757 at Newtown (now Queens), Queens Co. (now), NY, at age 90.

     Hannah Underhill was born in 1690 at Matinecock, Long Island, NY.¹ She was the daughter of John Underhill and Mary Prior.¹ Hannah Underhill married Thomas Bowne in 1716.¹ Hannah Underhill died in 1761.¹

     Isaac Underhill was born in 1704 at Matinecock, Long Island, NY.¹ He was the son of John Underhill and Elizabeth Willets.¹ Isaac Underhill died in 1723.¹

     Jacob Underhill was born in 1689.¹ He was the son of John Underhill and Mary Prior.¹ Jacob Underhill married Mary Wright in 1707.¹ Jacob Underhill died in 1708.¹

     John Underhill was born on 2 June 1797 at New York. He was the son of John Underhill and Elizabeth Smith. John Underhill married Rebecca Underhill, daughter of George Underhill and Nancy Anne Feeks, on 7 January 1819. John Underhill died on 11 September 1859 at Hillsboro, Highland Co., OH, at age 62.      Note: Founder of the oldest and largest Underhill family in the U. S. and Canada. Born in the Netherlands to English parents, he became a professional soldier and was brought to Massachusetts in 1630 to train the colony’s militia. He resided Boston, MA; Dover, NH; Stamford, CT; New Amsterdam; and Flushing, Southold, Setauket and Oyster Bay, all on Long Island, NY.

Attorney for Matinecock Indians who gave him 150 acres near Oyster Bay, named "Killingworth" after his father’s birthplace, and where he lived and lies buried. His family were among the earliest Quakers. First wife Helena de Hooch, second wife Elizabeth Feake (her mother was Anya Seton’s heroine in The Winthrop Woman). Descendants spread up Hudson Valley to Vermont, across New York to Ohio, and throughout the West.

The 1980 Underhill genealogy makes reference to a well-researched article about the Feakes in the New York Genealogical and Biographical Record, Volumes 86-87 (1955-56). Capt. John Underhill was born in 1609 at Bergen-op-Zoom, Netherlands. He was the son of John Underhill and Mary Mosely. Capt. John Underhill married Helena de Hooch, daughter of Willem Jansen de Hooch and Govertgen Emits, on 12 December 1628 at Kloosterkerk, The Hague, Netherlands. Capt. John Underhill immigrated in 1630 to Massachusetts Bay Colony, MA; with the Winthrop fleet. He began military service in 1636 at Boston, Suffolk Co., MA, Capt. of militia, Pequot War. He lived in 1644 at Kenilworth, Long Island, NY. He married Elizabeth Feake, daughter of Lt. Robert Feake and Elizabeth Fones, in 1658 at Flushing, Queens Co. (now), NY. Capt. John Underhill died on 21 September 1672 at Killingworth, Oyster Bay, Queens Co. (now), NY. He was buried in September 1672 at Underhill Burying Ground, Killingworth, Flushing, Queens (now), NY.

     Mary Underhill was born in 1677 at Matinecock, Long Island, NY.¹ She was the daughter of John Underhill and Mary Prior.¹ Mary Underhill married Wright Frost in 1698.¹

     Nathaniel Underhill was born on 22 February 1663 at Killingworth, Oyster Bay, Queens Co. (now), NY. He was the son of Capt. John Underhill and Elizabeth Feake. Nathaniel Underhill married Mary Ferris in March 1685. Nathaniel Underhill died in 1710.

     Rebecca Underhill was born on 24 September 1796 at Matinecock, Long Island, NY. She was the daughter of George Underhill and Nancy Anne Feeks. Rebecca Underhill married John Underhill, son of John Underhill and Elizabeth Smith, on 7 January 1819. Rebecca Underhill died on 12 March 1877 at Hillsboro, Highland Co., OH, at age 80.¹ She was buried in March 1877 at Hillsboro Cemetery, Hillsboro, Highland Co., OH, Findagrave #110312900.

     Robert Townsend Underhill was the son of George Raymond Underhill and Ann Elizabeth (?) Robert Townsend Underhill married Rolena Allen.

     Samuel Underhill was born in 1675 at Matinecock, Long Island, NY.¹ He was the son of John Underhill and Mary Prior.¹ Samuel Underhill married Hannah Willets in 1701.¹ Samuel Underhill died in 1754.¹

     Sarah Underhill was the daughter of Abraham Underhill and Sarah Townsend.
