Veno Willard Boss and Katherine C. Flynn were divorced before 1928; Kathryn is listed with marital status "D" on the 1930 census, living with her son Edward in the Thomas Flynn household.2 Veno Willard Boss married Clara Margaret (?) on 17 December 1928 at Franklin Co., OH. John C. Brown, 77, a retired railroad engineer, of 2105 Ekin avenue, died at 7 o'clock Thursday morning in the residence a few minutes after cutting his throat with a razor.
Despondency over lingering illness was given as the cause by Frank T. Tyler, coroner.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Mary C. Brown; two daughters, Mrs. Edward Eve, Floyd County, and Mrs. Charles Sweeney, Logansport, and four grandchildren.
Mr. Brown was a member of the Manzanita Tribe of Red Men.

She was buried in December 1946 at Hickory Grove Cemetery, Carr Twp., Clark Co., IN.
