He married Naomi Hagest, daughter of Philllip Balser Hagest and Bernice Iselene Roerk, before 2002. Funeral Services for Wesley Earl Bray, 79, of Clarksville, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, at Scott Funeral Home, North Chapel, with burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Jeffersonville. He died Saturday, May 1, 2004, at his home.
He was a minister of music in Ontario, Canada, a music director at a church in South Bend and a courier/dispatcher for I.C.L. in Louisville for five years. He was a member of Springdale United Methodist Church, a song evangelist his entire life, a member of AARP and a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force (R.C.A.F.) in World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Naomi L. Bray; sons, Phillip Neil and Sally Page and Gary W. and Cindy Page, all of Clarksville, grandsons, Packy and Michelle Page, Charlestown and Garrett D. Page, all of Clarksville; granddaughters, Georgia Page, Clarksville, Teresa Page, Nashville, Tenn. Kristy Swain, Jeffersonville; great-grandchildren, Jailen Swain. Jeffersonville, Kennedy Page, Charlestown and Tanner Page, Nashville, Tenn; brothers, Kenneth E. and Lorna Bray and Norman D.. and Jutta Bray, all of Ontario; and sisters, Hulda and Frank Hewgill, Ontario, Marion and Earl McGhee, London, Ontario and Ruth and Roger Gast, Strathroy, Ontario.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Davis Bray; his parents, John Wesley Bray and Ethel Annie Bray; and a brother, Stanley Bray.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today, Monday, may 3, and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to his church or Hospice and palliative Care of Southern Indiana.

He was buried in May 2004 at Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Jeffersonville, Clark Co., IN. Occupation: Minister of music in Ontario, Canada; a music director at a church in South Bend and a courier/dispatcher for I.C.L. in Louisville for five years.

Miss Ethel Eli and Mr. Frank Breauthower were united at Norton on Wednesday at a little after noon by Probate Judge Sheley. Miss Maud and Mr. Clarnece Eli, sister and brother of the bride witnessed the ceremony. The happy couple came home on the Jersey and drove to the groom's sister, Mrs. John Reeves where a reception was given them Wednesday night. The bride wore a very pretty dress of light blue silk and Miss Maud wore light green. Mr. and Mrs. Breauthower leave today for Palco, Kans., where they will visit the former's relatives for a couple of weeks.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Eli and is among our most charming country maidens, reared by one of our most distinguished farmer families. She is well thought of by all who know her and will make a true and loving wife. The groom is one of those good natured, hard working farmer boys who is bound to make his way in this world.
The Plaindealer wishes to be among the many friends who extend congratulations to this happy young couple and wishes them prosperity and happiness in their new life.
