Wigger who married John's widow Emma Wigger in 1920. William Edgar Wigger lived on 23 August 1870 at Hopedale Twp., Tazewell Co., IL, farming, age 35, remarried to Elizabeth Shay, with children John, William, and Franklin.2 He died on 4 March 1908 at Missouri at age 72. Mrs. Bessie Bliss Wiggins Fitz, 84, widow of Ervin Moul Fitz who had been residing at the Senica Hotel, Columbus, Ohio, since the death of her husband five years ago, died Tuesday afternoon in a Columbus, Ohio hospital.

She spent the Winter of 1950 at the home of her husband's cousins, Estelle W. and J. S. Fitz, 214 Broadway. Mrs. Fitz was a member of the Broadway Presbyterian church, Columbus, and was affiliated with the Columbus Chapter, DAR; Franklin County Hospital Society and the Columbus Gallery of Fine Arts.
     
A brother-in-law, Earl S. Fitz, 312 Broadway, and three other cousins of her husband survive. They are Mrs. J, W, Gitt, Hanover RD 3; Mrs. Jesse Hill, Hanover RD 2, and Mrs. Richard Y. Naill, Virginia Beach, Va.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. at the Schoedinger Funeral home, Columbus. The body will be brought to the Panebaker Funeral home, 311 Broadway, and graveside services will be conducted in Mt. Olivet cemetery Saturday at 2 p.m. Rev. Dr. Nevin E. Amy Wigginton Aycock, 96, a native of Taylorsville, Ky., and resident of Houma, went home to her eternal reward Monday, May 29, 2006.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at the First United Methodist Church in Franklin. Funeral rites will be at 11 a.m. at the church, with burial in Franklin Cemetery.

She is survived by one daughter, Joanne Morrison, and husband, Chester, of Houma; one stepdaughter, Mary Dupuis, and late husband, Steven, of Opelousas; and Elaine “Teen” Aycock of Franklin; seven grandchildren, Amy Hewel, Chet Morrison, Rev. Jim Morrison, Melinda Cosky, Sally Phillips, Mary Gregory and Steven Morrison; 12 step-grandchildren, James Lopez, Stephanie Morris, Danni Jones, Steven Dupuis Jr., Roy Dupuis, Charlie Dupuis, Barbara “Tateen” Ory, Jody Aycock, Ken Aycock, Mary Margaret Valls, Larry Aycock and Susan Fleniken; 14 great-grandchildren, 33 step-great-grandchildren, and 13 step-great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two nieces, Anne Edenfield and Elizabeth Huber, both of Florida; and one cousin, Mary Charles Stout, of Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence A. Aycock of Franklin; her parents, Jesse Wigginton and Annie Massie; two sisters, Mary Jessie Montgomery and Elizabeth Hamer; and stepsons C.C. “Taddy” Aycock, and Joseph Westley Aycock.

She was a resident of Franklin for 70 years and for the past seven years, resided in Houma. After attending college in Bowling Green, Ky., she accepted a teaching position in Franklin where she met and married her husband. In later years, she resumed her teaching career and earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and taught in St. Mary Parish schools for 19 years. She was an avid bridge player and a wonderful hostess and homemaker. She traveled extensively and enjoyed her family and many lifelong friends. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Franklin.

She was buried in June 2006 at Franklin Cemetery, Franklin, St. Mary Par., LA, Findagrave #183859963.

Margaret was born December 20, 1920 in Blue Island, IL to Alfred James and Marion (Wilkins) Wigginton. She married William Gene Moore on December 28, 1945 in Cook County. He preceded her in death on April 27, 1977.

Margaret was an awesome grandmother and mother. Her life was spent close to the people she loved as she worked alongside family at the Pizza Pit for 26 years, and later at Playschool daycare and Clay County Speedway. She enjoyed browsing rummage sales and resale shops, and spent many hours playing solitaire and rummy. She was of the Christian faith.

She is survived by her children: Barbara Mislich, Joyce Blume, Donna Moran, Margene Burmeister and Jeffrey Moore; 20 grandchildren: Kenneth Mislich, Jennifer Brown, Jason Mislich, Ronda Lamm, Darren Sheehan, Randen Sheehan Erica Simpson, Wayne Moran, Benjamin Moran, Jeanine Cox, Kimberly Lusk, Melissa Murphy, Michael Burmeister, James Moore, Jeremy Moore, Joseph Moore, Jana Moore, Jocelyn Moore, Jessi Moore, Cory Moore; 40 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, along with special nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a great-granddaughter (Alma Moore), and two brothers (James and Conrad Wigginton).

The funeral service for Margaret Moore was held at Frank & Bright Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Flora.

She was buried in June 2013 at Elmwood Cemetery, Flora, Clay Co., IL, Findagrave #112619852.

Margie Virginia Briggs went to be with the Lord September 16, 2009 at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Solon Briggs, four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Pam Miller and her husband Don; son, Len Briggs and his wife Cathy; grandchildren, Nathan, Lauren, Isaac, Anna, Caleb, Mary, Joy, Christa, Melissa, Rian, and Kyle; great grandchildren, Analaurie, Guy, and Bailee; brother, Wilbur; sisters, Mary and Betty; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services
Visitation will begin at 11:00 am Monday, September 21, 2009 at Harlandale Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at 12:00 noon at the church. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.

She was buried in September 2009 at Sunset Memorial Park, San Antonio, Bexar Co., TX, Findagrave #90968316.
