Oscar L. Windle, 75, 1924 Parker, North Little Rock, a retired attendant at Veterans Administration Hospital in North Little Rock, died Thursday. He was a Methodist. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Audrey Owen Windle; a son, Owen Windle of Quincy, Calif; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Windle Johson and Mrs. Zepha Windle Southern of Little Rock; two brothers, Henry Windle of Hawthorne, Calif., and Bacel Windle of Bloomington, Ill., and 10 grandchildren. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Owens Funeral Home by Rev. Floyd G. Villines and Rev. Charles Ashcraft. Pallbearers will be J. D. Turner, Bill Arrington, Joe Shaffer, Elmer Hargrove, B. A. Beason, and Coy Dismuke. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Cemetery.

Perry H. Windle, Jr., age 87, of Livingston passed from this life on Sunday evening, March 27, 2022 from his home in Livingston. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee on June 23, 1934 to the late Perry H. Windle, Sr. and Ollie Keaton Windle.

A member of the First Christian Church and a member of the Livingston Masonic Lodge #259. Perry was a 1952 graduate of Livingston Academy then a graduate of Tennessee Tech University receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree.

Perry leaves behind his wife of 67 years: Mrs. Onita McDonald Windle of Livingston; sons: Chip Windle and wife Mary of Knoxville and John Mark Windle of Livingston; grandchildren: Bradley Harris Windle, Stephanie Brown and husband Austin, David Rupe, and Debra Rupe.

In addition to his parents, Perry was preceded in death by his daughter: Mitzi Windle Rupe.

Funeral Services were conducted Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from the First Christian Church in Livingston with Rev. James Shenko and Bro. John Robbins officiating. Burial followed in the Bethsaidia Cemetery with Military Honors provided at the graveside by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard.

He was buried in 2022 at Bethsaida Cemetery, Livingston, Overton Co., TN, Findagrave #238091806.
