     John Howard Braungard was born on 18 March 1907.¹ He was the son of John Howard Braungard and Bertha Bonebrake. John Howard Braungard died on 4 September 1992 at York, York Co., PA, at age 85.²

     Note: After graduating at the Germantown High School, Miss Braungard won a scholarship at the University of Pennsylvania. In 1924, she was elected President of the Women's Student Government for the coming (her senior) year by the four classes, the highest honor given a girl at the University. She is a member of the "Mortar Board," the "Sphinx and Key" and was elected President of the Delta, Delta, Delta fraternity and was a delegate to the National Convention of that body at Glacier National Park, Montana, in June 1925. She was President of the Junior Class and Treasurer of the YWCA at the University which is active in settlement work.¹ Marian Braungard was born on 19 August 1903.¹ She was the daughter of John Howard Braungard and Bertha Bonebrake.

He died on 26 March 1938 at Beatrice, Gage Co., NE, at age 68.

Mrs. Emily Kitzmiller Dies in Taylorville

The funeral of Mrs. Emily Marcia Kitzmiller, 89-year-old widow of the late Dr. Joseph H. Kitzmiller of Taylorville, will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon in the Shafer funeral home here. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
Mrs. Kitzmiller died at 2:50 a.m. Saturday in the St. Vincent hospital where she had been a patient for four weeks.
She was a native of Ohio. She was born in Razenna in that state on September 21, 1851. She was married to Dr. Joseph H. Kitzmiller at Taylorville who died in 1907 after practicing medicine more than 30 years.
She was a member of the First Baptist church of Taylorville and was a charter member of the church's Dorcas society. She was also active in the Women's Relief Corps for many years.
She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Mitta Speer of Taylorville and Mrs. Dixon Bond of Minneapolis, Minn.

She was buried in May 1941 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville, Christian Co., IL.

     Grace Via Bray was born on 21 April 1908. She was the daughter of Robert James Bray and Laura Mabel Wilkin. Grace Via Bray died on 28 April 1908.

     Robert James Bray was born on 1 June 1882. He married Laura Mabel Wilkin, daughter of Thomas Winter Wilkin and Lucinda Runyon, on 28 June 1904.

     Sarah Ellen Bray was born on 6 April 1857 at IL Possibly 1851 (1880 census). Father born Tennessee, mother born Kentucky, per 1880 and 1900 census info. She married James Washington Windle, son of Samuel Washington Windle and Elizabeth Pyrtle, on 31 December 1872 at Crawford Co., MO, Ceremony by G. W. Forbes, J.P.

     Wesley Earl Bray was born on 12 June 1924 at Canada. He was the son of John Bray and Ethel Ann (?) Wesley Earl Bray began military service WW II, Royal Canadian Air Force. He married Naomi Hagest, daughter of Philllip Balser Hagest and Bernice Iselene Roerk, before 2002. Funeral Services for Wesley Earl Bray, 79, of Clarksville, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, at Scott Funeral Home, North Chapel, with burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Jeffersonville. He died Saturday, May 1, 2004, at his home.
He was a minister of music in Ontario, Canada, a music director at a church in South Bend and a courier/dispatcher for I.C.L. in Louisville for five years. He was a member of Springdale United Methodist Church, a song evangelist his entire life, a member of AARP and a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force (R.C.A.F.) in World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Naomi L. Bray; sons, Phillip Neil and Sally Page and Gary W. and Cindy Page, all of Clarksville, grandsons, Packy and Michelle Page, Charlestown and Garrett D. Page, all of Clarksville; granddaughters, Georgia Page, Clarksville, Teresa Page, Nashville, Tenn. Kristy Swain, Jeffersonville; great-grandchildren, Jailen Swain. Jeffersonville, Kennedy Page, Charlestown and Tanner Page, Nashville, Tenn; brothers, Kenneth E. and Lorna Bray and Norman D.. and Jutta Bray, all of Ontario; and sisters, Hulda and Frank Hewgill, Ontario, Marion and Earl McGhee, London, Ontario and Ruth and Roger Gast, Strathroy, Ontario.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Davis Bray; his parents, John Wesley Bray and Ethel Annie Bray; and a brother, Stanley Bray.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today, Monday, may 3, and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to his church or Hospice and palliative Care of Southern Indiana.
