Mary Alberta Brown married Cecil Byron Eltringham, son of Cecil R. Eltringham and Melvina Anna Butler, on 27 September 1939 at Guernsey Co., OH, Four children from this marriage. Mary Alberta Brown died on 2 March 2009 at Cambridge, Guernsey Co., OH, at age 89. She was buried in March 2009 at Senecaville Cemetery, Senecaville, Guernsey Co., OH, Findagrave #157975018.

     Mary Alice Brown was born on 8 December 1865 at McDowell Co., NC. She was the daughter of Samuel Brown and Nancy Pitman. Mary Alice Brown married Hugh Alexander Tate DeVault, son of Jacob A. DeVault and Mary Ann Alexander, on 24 December 1885. Mary Alice Brown married Charles Edmond DeVault, son of Jacob A. DeVault and Mary Ann Alexander, on 16 December 1909, no children. Mary Alice Brown died on 3 December 1951 at age 85. She was buried in December 1951 at Glen Alpine Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Glen Alpine, Burke Co., NC.

     Mary Ann Brown married Thomas G. Coil, son of Jeremiah Coil and Lucinda Grady, in 1880 at Fayette Co., OH.

Mary Lee Brown died on 17 September 2002 at Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo Co., CA, at age 81.

     Mary Lou Brown was born on 16 January 1929. She married Edgar Egbert Gillmore, son of Jacob Elmer Gillmore and Verdia Ellena Mae Weaver, on 27 January 1945 at Guymon, Texas Co., OK. Mary Lou Brown died on 21 March 1968 at age 39. She was buried in March 1968 at Britton Cemetery, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Co., OK.

SPRINGFIELD.-- Mary Louise Fuller, 90, of Springfield, formerly of Divernon, died Thursday, July 14, 2005, at Heritage Manor.

She was born Sept. 30, 1914, in Springfield, the daughter of John William and Clara Belle Gibbons Brown. Three husbands, Oscar Lane, Troy Wise and Elmore "Bo" Fuller, preceded her in death. Four sons, Gerald and Chuck Lane and Mike and Troy Wise, also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Fuller worked at a defense plant in Illiopolis during World War II and was a clerk for the Divernon Senior Citizens Center.

Survivors: two sons, Bill (wife, Linda) and Don (wife Ruth) Lane, both of Colorado; four daughters, Marilyn Lane, Judy Reeves and Verna Sue Wise, all of Springfield, and Carole (husband, Edson) Caspar of Crystal Lake; 22 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held Monday, Branley Funeral Home, Divernon, the Rev. Peter Wehrly officiating. Burial: Brush Creek Cemetery, Divernon.

She was buried in July 2005 at Brush Creek Cemetery, Divernon, Sangamon Co., IL, Findagrave #25711269.

     Matilda Brown was born on 16 October 1817 at Washington Co., TN. She married Henry A. Martin on 30 November 1837 at Washington Co., TN. Matilda Brown died on 10 May 1883 at Washington Co., TN, at age 65.

     Maud Katherine Brown married Raymond Edmond Deardorff, son of David Henry Deardorff and Lucy Ann Mickley. Maud Katherine Brown died at Adams Co., PA. She was born on 22 May 1884.

     May B. Brown was born in March 1890 at Indiana. She was the daughter of John C. Brown and Mary C. Bostock. May B. Brown married Charles Freville Sweeney, son of Francis Sweeney and Sullis S. V.      RENSSELAER -- May B. Sweeney, 96, of Rensselaer, died Friday at the Jasper County Hospital.
She was the former May Brown and a native of New Albany.

The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Fairview Mausoleum Chapel. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

     Melville R. Brown was born circa 1847 at Franklin Co., PA.¹ He was the son of Jeremiah S. Brown and Martha Metz.¹

     Merle Ray Brown was born on 3 April 1897 at Cedar Rapids, Linn Co., IA. He married Zana Ellen Timm, daughter of Albert Timm and Jennie (?), on 24 November 1914 at Johnson Co., IA. Merle Ray Brown died on 11 January 1937 at Youngstown, Mahoning Co., OH, at age 39. Meryle L. Barnes, 66, of Perry, Oklahoma was the daughter of Harvey L. and Lula D. Joy Brown. She was born May 14, 1938 at Woodward, Oklahoma and died Sunday, August 8, 2004 at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. On December 27, 1976, she and Hebe P. Barnes were married in Arkansas City, Kansas. Her husband preceded her in death on January 7, 1994. She was a furniture upholsterer before retiring in 1992. Meryle lived in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma before moving to the Perry community nine years ago. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Perry. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at the First Baptist Church in Perry. Rev. Buddy Hunt will officiate. Interment will be in Morris Heights Cemetery at Orlando, Oklahoma under direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or the American Diabetes Association in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Survivors are one son, Charles Howard Lackey Jr., of Ft. Worth, Texas; one daughter, Donna J. Lummus, of Wichita, Kansas; two sisters, Pearl Shelton, of Perry, Oklahoma and Ruby Harlow, of Stillwater, Oklahoma; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, H.P. Barnes, and her parents, Harvey and Lula Brown, Meryle was preceded in death by two half brothers, Richard Day and Lewis Day.

     Mildred Salome Brown married Allen Dale Monnier, son of Howard Phelps Monnier and Katherine Moore. Mildred Salome Brown was born on 27 October 1908. She was the daughter of Charles Delbert Brown and Eldora Mae Huppert.

     Milo Clyde Brown was born on 20 February 1890 at Basil, Fairfield Co., OH. He married Stella Maud Dorworth on 22 July 1913 at Franklin Co., OH. Milo Clyde Brown died on 31 December 1967 at Columbus, Franklin Co., OH, at age 77.

     Mina Catherine Brown was born on 10 April 1885 at Horsheshoe Bend, Klickitat Co., WA. She was the daughter of Thomas B. Brown and Mary A. (?) Mina Catherine Brown married Ralph Stephen Winterstein, son of Philip Winterstein and Sarah Ellen Gambrel, on 13 January 1907 at the home of her parents, Horsheshoe Bend, Klickitat Co., WA. DEATHS REPORTED

Nina Winterstein, 78, and Ariel Bunce, 73, both residents of Goldendale, passed away. Bunce expired Tuesday afternoon and Mrs. Winterstein Wednesday morning. At press time Wednesday afternoon The Sentinel was unable to secure information in regard to relatives or funeral arrangements.

MINA C. WINTERSTEIN

Mina Catherine Brown was born April 10, 1885 in Horseshoe Bend west of Goldendale and passed from this life March 18, 1964 up the Klickitat Valley Hospital in Goldendale at the age of 78 years, 11 month and 8 days.

She spent all of her life in the Goldendale and Centerville communities. She was the eldest daughter of Thomas and Mary Brown, old pioneers of the area. She married Steven Ralph Winterstein at the home of her parents on January 13, 1907 and it to this union were born two sons, Jack and Vernon.

Vernon passed away on May 15, 1956 and Jack followed the death of his mother closely. Her husband preceded her in death in April 1952. Her two sisters also preceded her in death.

She leaves behind to mourn her passing, one brother, Ralph A. Brown of Goldendale and a host of relatives and friends.

She has long been a Christian and a strong believer. She was a kind, loving wife and mother and a true friend. She will be greatly missed in the community.

She was buried in March 1964 at Spring Creek Cemetery, Goldendale, Klickitat Co., WA.

     Minnie N. Brown was born on 14 November 1891 at Indiana. She was the daughter of John C. Brown and Mary C. Bostock. Minnie N. Brown married Edward John Eve, son of Jean Joseph Coquetier Eve and Adeline Josephine Dubois, on 27 June 1912 at Floyd Co., IN. Minnie N. Brown died in February 1977 at age 85. She was buried in 1977 at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany, Floyd Co., IN, Findagrave #182336829.

     Miranda J. Brown was born circa 1840 at McLean Co., IL.¹ She was the daughter of James Brown and Naomi Rhodes.¹
