     Sarah Lucinda Butt was born on 25 October 1857 at Maxville, Perry Co., OH. She was the daughter of Lewis Peterson Butt and Rosannah Conrad. Sarah Lucinda Butt married William L. Redick. Sarah Lucinda Butt died on 27 April 1893 at Maxville, Perry Co., OH, at age 35.

MRS. WILLOUGHBY FELKER DIES SUDDENLY AT HER HOME WHILE HUSBAND LIES ILL

The people of the community were greatly shocked Saturday afternoon when word was spread of the sudden passing away of Mrs. Willoughby Felker, her sickness covering but a few hours which was not thought to be of a serious nature. During the previous night she had an attack of indigestion and the immediate cause of death is given as heart failure. For a week or more Mr. Felker has been quite sick with pneumonia and Mrs. Felker had been very attentive and solicitous in caring for him, and the suddenness of her calling away came with crushing sorrow upon Mr. Felker and the family.
Alice Butterbaugh was born in Washington County, Maryland, January 22, 1846, and died December 27, 1919, aged 73 years, 11 months and 5 days.
She came to Illinois with her parents when a babe one year old, the family locating on their farm four miles northeast of Mount Morris, where she grew to womanhood and where she continued to reside following marriage until removed to the village about 20 years ago. She was the oldest of eight children, four boys and four girls, all of whom preceded her in death except her youngest brother, Edward, who with family are also residents of Mount Morris.
She was married to Willoughby Felker, December 22, 1868. Five children were born to them -- Mrs. Olive Long, Henry Felker, Mrs. Fannie Watts, and Merritt Felker, all of whom are residents of Mount Morris township, and the village, except Henry, whose home is near Vinton, Iowa. The death of Edna McNeel which occurred a year ago was a source of great sorrow to the mother. Besides her surviving children there are fourteen grand-children and three great-grand-children.
Mrs. Felker united with the Church of the Brethren fifty years ago. Her attachment to the church of her adoption was very great and her life that of the consistent Christian. She was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand to those in need and her home and family were always the first thought, her fine devotion to those who were near and dear to her surely meriting the highest tribute that any words can pay.
A year ago, December 22, Mr. and Mrs. Felker with family celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of their wedding.
The funeral service which was largely attended was held in the Brethren chapel Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Frank McCune giving the funeral discourse and was assisted by Rev. George P. Kabele. Burial was made on the family lot at Silver Creek Cemetery.

     Barbara Ella Butterbaugh was born on 14 June 1858 at Mt. Morris Twp., Ogle Co., IL.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Butterbaugh and Catharine Hershey.¹ Barbara Ella Butterbaugh died on 3 October 1862 at Mt. Morris Twp., Ogle Co., IL, at age 4.

     Catherine Butterbaugh was born on 1 March 1825 at Franklin Co., PA. She was the daughter of John Butterbaugh and Nancy Jane Zug. Catherine Butterbaugh married Nathaniel H. Long, son of Isaac Long and Elizabeth Slifer, circa 1840. Catherine Butterbaugh died on 26 October 1846 at Washington Co., MD, at age 21. She was buried in October 1846 at Secrest Cemetery, Franklin Co., PA, Findagrave #147487971.

     Charles Herman Butterbaugh was born on 30 January 1918 at Englewood, Montgomery Co., OH. He was the son of Wilbur Fudge Butterbaugh and Etta Mae Semler. Charles Herman Butterbaugh married Phyllis Jane Warrick, daughter of Isaac Warrick and Clara Bell Gebhart, on 12 July 1941. Charles Herman Butterbaugh died on 16 September 2004 at Fairborn, Greene Co., OH, at age 86. He was buried in September 2004 at New Carlisle Cemetery, New Carlisle, Clark Co., OH.

     David Martin Butterbaugh was born on 31 July 1857 at Pennsylvania.¹ He married Sarah Elizabeth Klinzman on 29 January 1885.      Edward Clinton Butterbaugh was born on 8 July 1863 at Mt. Morris Twp., Ogle Co., IL.¹ He was the son of Henry Butterbaugh and Catharine Hershey.¹ Edward Clinton Butterbaugh married Mary Ellen Bopp, daughter of John Bopp and Matilda Secore, on 14 December 1882 at Ogle Co., IL. Edward Clinton Butterbaugh died on 30 June 1928 at Ogle Co., IL, at age 64.

     Emma Alice Butterbaugh was born on 7 June 1848 at Mt. Morris Twp., Ogle Co., IL.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Butterbaugh and Catharine Hershey.¹ Emma Alice Butterbaugh married William Henry Thomas, son of Abram Thomas and Caroline C. Henry Butterbaugh married Catharine Hershey, daughter of John Henry Hershey and Mary DeWald, on 11 November 1844 at Washington Co., MD. Henry Butterbaugh died on 22 March 1883 at Mt. Morris, Ogle Co., IL, at age 63.

109 Attend Puterbaugh-Butterbaugh Reunion August 1929

The descendants of John Butterbaugh who came to Cherry Grove township from Franklin County, Pa., in 1843, held their first reunion at Point Rock, Mr. Carroll on Sunday, Aug. 18, 1929. This reunion was sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Forest Hawk and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Truman.

W. H. Puterbaugh of Lanark gave and address of welcome, A. B. Puterbaugh of Milledgeville then took charge of a short business meeting. It was decided to have an annual reunion of the descendants of John Butterbaugh, who were Henry B. Puterbaugh, Jacob Butterbaugh, David Puterbaugh, Samuel Butterbaugh, Martin Butterbaugh, Elizabeth (Betsy) Sheller and Mary Elliot. The meeting for next year is to be held at Point Rock Park at Mt. Carroll on the third Sunday in June. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President, A. B. Puterbaugh of Milledgeville; Vice President, Harry Butterbaugh, Lanark; Sec-Treas., Mrs. Catherine Lutz, Lanark. The officers appointed the following committees: Membership - Roy Butterbauugh, Lanark, Sadie Puterbaugh, Lanark, Eva Royer, Lanark. Program- Forest Hawk, Lanark, Florence Truman, Lanark, Evelyn Zuck, Lanark.

The only family with four living generations was that of Mrs. Ellen Hawk, they being Mrs. Hawk, Mrs. Cora Reeves, Mrs. Charles Dyslin and Ireta Dyslin. Frank Puterbaugh of Lanark was the oldest memeber, age 78 years, and a nine month old baby girl of the Burkholders was the youngest memeber present.
