Wanda Marie Callaway married Vernon Bruce Sponsel on 19 November 1960. Wanda Marie Callaway died on 4 August 1998 at New Florence, Montgomery Co., MO, at age 70. Tennessee Sarah Jane Callen died in July 1904. She was buried in 1904 at Green Forest, Carroll Co., AR.

     Anthony Callison was born on 12 March 1828 at Clark Co. (probably), OH. He was the son of Arthur Callison and Mary Margaret Leffel. Anthony Callison married Rhoda Hughel on 29 March 1849 at Clark Co., OH. Anthony Callison died on 24 February 1905 at Huntington Co., IN, at age 76.

     Arthur Callison was born on 21 February 1793 at Greenbrier Co., VA (now WV). He was the son of John Callison and Jane McClure. Arthur Callison married Catherine Morris on 3 October 1812 at Champaign Co., OH. Arthur Callison began military service in 1814 Sergeant in Capt. Jeremiah Sims' Company (Champaign County, Ohio), War of 1812. He lived on 1 April 1816 at Bloomfield Twp., Jackson Co., OH, First election had 37 electors with Arthur Callison named as one. No further records in Jackson County.

Arthur's uncle Samuel McClure was also in Jackson County in 1816. He married Mary Margaret Leffel, daughter of John Leffel and Anna Margaret Abendschön, on 3 September 1818 at Clark Co., OH. Arthur Callison left a will on 21 December 1854; In the name of the benevolent Father of all.

I, Arthur Callison of Clark County, Ohio, make this my last will and testament: Item first - I give and bequeath to my son Samuel the use of my farm on which I now reside duringmy life and three years after my decease for his trouble he has had and may have with me and to have the use of my property during the time he holds the farm.
Item 2nd At the expiration of three years after my decease the farm on which I now reside is to be sold at private or public sale whichever my administrator may think best.
Item 3rd I give and devise unto my son John's heirs three hundred dollars to equally divide between all his heirs now lving to be paid out of the ___ payments my farm.
Item 4th I give and devise fifty dollars unto my son Moses and fifty dollars unto my daughter Sarah and fifty dollars unto my son Peter to make them equal to my other heirs which I have paid the like sum in my lifetime.
Item 5th I give and devise the balance of the proceeds of farm in the following manner to my son William and Robert and Samuel, Anthony and Moses and my daughter Sarah and my son Peter to be equally divided between all above name heirs.
Item 6th I give and devise unto my son John three dollars.

Callison married Emma Frances Michael, daughter of William Michael and Catherine Friermood, on 4 October 1881 at Clark Co., OH. George W. Callison died on 2 January 1889 at Pike Twp., Clark Co., OH, at age 31. He was buried in January 1889 at Newon Cemetery, Champaign Co., OH, Findagrave #20276697. In the name of the Benevolent father of all, I George W. Callison being weak in body but of sound and disposing mind and memory do hereby make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking all others by me made

First: I will and devise that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid out of my estate after my decease

Second: I will and bequeath to my wife Emma Frances Callison all of the household goods of every description including all provisions that may be on hand at my decease also all horses, cattle or stock of any description whatsoever all of the bees and empty hives and all fixtures pertaining thereto one Surry, one Buggy, and all Harness, one Sleigh and fixtures including bells and robes

Third: I further will and bequeath to mysaid wife the sum of two thousand dollars out of my estate after my decease

Fourth: I will and bequeath the residue of my estate to my daughter Glenna Catherine Callison all of the residue of my estate to be held in trust by my executor hereinafter named until she my daughter shall arrive at full age of eighteen years old. Then my executor hereinafter named shall pay to my said daughter Glenna Catharine Callison the sum of five hundred dollars the remainder of my estate in that amount going to or belonging to my said daughter to be held in trust by my executer herinafter named until the death of my wife Emma Frances Callison

Fifth: I will and bequeath to my wife Emma Francis Callison the net proceeds of the interest of that part of my estate herein bequeathed to my daughter Glenna Catherine Callison subject to the provisions herein made

Sixth I do hereby nominante and appoint Simon S. Jenkins executor of this my last will and testament

Glenna Catherine Callison married Earl Dwight Covell, son of Joseph Inman Covell and Sarah A. Hilton, on 5 June 1907 at Clark Co., OH. Glenna Catherine Callison and Earl Dwight Covell were divorced before 23 July 1946; George remarried to Carrie Louise Herman on this date, presume a divorce was obtained beforehand. Glenna Catherine Callison died on 18 September 1964 at Clark Co., OH, at age 77

MRS. GLENNA C. COVELL
DIALTON-Mrs. Glenna C. Covell, 76, of Dialton, died in her residence at 4 a.m. Friday following an illness of two weeks. Mrs. Covell, a native of Dialton, was born Feb. 8, 1887, a daughter of George and Emma Michael Collison. She was a member of the Newsome Chapel Church and a graduate of Ohio Northern University. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Eunice Walls of Springfield, Route 2; a son George of Delaware, O; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Wiekham Funeral Home, St. Paris, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Saturday until noon Sunday. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Newsome Chapel, where the body will lie in state one hour prior to services. The Rev. Samuel Brunner will officiate. Burial will be in Newsome Chapel Cemetery.

     Moses Callison was born on 15 July 1833 at Clark Co., OH. He was the son of Arthur Callison and Mary Margaret Leffel. Moses Callison married Mary Jane Heck, daughter of George Washington Heck and Elizabeth Hughel, on 24 November 1853 at Clark Co., OH. Moses Callison died on 25 December 1898 at North Hampton, Clark Co., OH, at age 65. He was buried in December 1898 at Ferncliff Cemetery, Springfield, Clark Co., OH. In the name of the Benevolent Father of all: I, Moses Callison of Clark County, Ohio, do make and publish this my last will and testament.

Item 1 - I give and devise to my beloved wife Mary Jane Callison should she survive me in lieu of her dower and years allowance, the land that I may own at the time of my death, wheresoever the same may be situate, during her natural life; and all the stock, household goods, furniture, provisions and all other monies, notes, goods and chattels I may own at the time of my decease, I give and bequeath to her absolutely, she to sell so much of my personal property as may be necessary to pay my just debts and funeral expenses and erect a suitable monument.

Item II - At the death of my said wife or at my death should she not survive me, I give and devise to my son David the following described real estate viz: Being a part o fthe North East 1/4 of Sec. 3 T.3 R 10 MR containing one hundred and one 35/100 acres also the road leading to said place the same being more particularly described in the deed from Mary J. Ray et al to Moses Callison which deed is recorded in Volume 99 pages 61 and 62 Deed records of Clark County, Ohio also the following being the acres square of Woodland in the North West corner of Section No. 33 T No. 4 R 10 MRs -- all of said land being in Clark County, Ohio to have and to hold the same to the said David Callison during his natural life and at his death to his heirs and their assigns forever.

Item III - I give and bequeath at the death of my said wife or should she not survive me, then at my death, to my daughter Lida Ellen Jenkins thirty acres off of the south part of Sec. No. 33 T No.4 R 10 MRs Clark County, Ohio known as a part of my "Home farm", the north line of said thirty acres shall be parallel with the south line thereof. Also ten (10) acres square out of the North East corner of the above section to have and to hold the same during her natural life and at her death to her heirs and their assigns forever.

Item IV - At the death of my said wife, or at my death should she not survive me, I give and defvise to my son Nevin Elwood the remainder of my "Home farm" situate in Clark County, Ohio Sec. 33, T 4, R 10 MRs the same being about one hundred and ten acres more or less, to have and to hold during his natural life and at his death to his heirs and their assigns forever.

Item V - I give to my son Willard E. Callison the note he now owes me and any and all other indebtedness he may owe me.
Should any of my chidlren die before my death or the death of my said wife, should she survive me, then I desire the share given to the parent during life and at the parent's death to their heirs, I give the share so devised to themselves of such deceased child absolutely.

I hereby nominate and request the court of Probate to appoint my son Nevin Elwood Callison the executor of this my last will and testament and request the court not to request him to give bond.

Nevin Elwood Callison married Estella May Swartzbaugh on 18 March 1897 at Clark Co., OH. Nevin Elwood Callison died on 29 September 1945 at Springfield, Clark Co., OH, at age 72.

     Peter Callison was born on 9 August 1844 at Clark Co. (probably), OH. He was the son of Arthur Callison and Mary Margaret Leffel. Peter Callison married Mary C. Donovan on 24 August 1869 at Clark Co., OH. Peter Callison died on 5 September 1882 at Bethel Twp., Clark Co., OH, at age 38.

     Robert Callison was born on 21 December 1823 at Pike Twp., Clark Co., OH. He was the son of Arthur Callison and Mary Margaret Leffel. Robert Callison married Alice G. North on 7 November 1850 at Clark Co., OH. Robert Callison died on 13 February 1909 at North Hampton, Clark Co., OH, at age 85.

     Samuel Callison was born circa 1848 at Pike Twp., Clark Co., OH. He was the son of John Callison and Sarah Richards.

     Sarah Elizabeth Callison was also known as "Sallie". She was born on 22 January 1831 at Virginia.¹ She was the daughter of Col. Elisha Callison and Margaret Bright.¹ Sarah Elizabeth Callison married 2nd Lt. Samuel Alexander Bailey Gilmer, son of Henry Gilmer and Barbara Koogler, on 12 December 1855 at Blacksburg, Montgomery Co., VA. Sarah Elizabeth Callison died on 18 September 1916 at age 85. She was buried in September 1916 at Old Stone Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Lewisburg, Greenbrier Co., WV, Find A Grave Memorial# 107464985.

     Sarah Jane Callison was born on 15 June 1838 at Clark Co. (probably), OH. She was the daughter of Arthur Callison and Mary Margaret Leffel. Sarah Jane Callison married Lewis Thomas on 2 October 1856 at Clark Co., OH. Sarah Jane Callison died on 21 August 1915 at Miami Co., OH, at age 77.

     Willard Emery Callison was born on 11 February 1862 at Pike Twp., Clark Co., OH. He was the son of Moses Callison and Mary Jane Heck.
