Kathleen Hilyard, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away at the age of 91.

Kathy was born in Tupelo, MS, to Jack and Mable Rowland in a large and loving extended family. Her childhood was spent getting into mischief with her cousins. She was proud of babysitting Elvis Presley, a neighbor of her family. Her entire family moved to Indiana when work could no longer be found in Tupelo.

Kathleen moved to Fresno, CA in 1955, however, has many loving relatives in Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Sheila; and grandsons, Bryan Walker, and Adam Walker.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Dana Walker and her husband Bill; son, Roger Hilyard and his wife Charmaine, son, Todd Hilyard; her grandchildren, Sara Salanitro, whom she raised, and her husband Matt, Tiffany Galassie, Daren Hilyard and his wife Megan, Nolan Hilyard, Casey Hilyard, and Kevin Walker and his wife Sue; and great-grandchildren, Mychael Walker, Connor Hilyard, Autumn Smith, and Charlotte Hilyard.

A Viewing will be held at Yost and Webb Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

A Graveside Service will be held at Belmont Memorial Park on Thursday, June 28, 2018, at 10:00 a.m.
