She and Samuel Nixon were divorced before February 1943; Mary O. Nixon remarried to Edgar O. Englehart (1893 - 1964) on 13 FEB 1943 at Yellowstone County, Montana. She is named Orilla Brown in Oval's obituary, living in Alburquerque in 1980.

     Arthur Chalmers was born in January 1892 at Sacramento Co., CA.¹ He was the son of Charles Stuart Chalmers and Nellie Davis.¹

Kenneth Chamberlain, 74, a resident of Campbell Drive, Aberdeen, died Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the Meadowview Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Chamberlain was born on December 30, 1936 in Robertson County, Kentucky, the son of the late Isaac C. and Irene Herrington Chamberlain. He was a well known self-employed electrician and plumber for over 40 years. He was a Huntington Township Trustee for the last 20 years.

Mr. Chamberlain is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Ilene Payne Chamberlain, one son John (Elizabeth) Chamberlain of Maysville, one daughter Tonya (Greg) Slone of Kansas City, MO, and seven grandchildren. Also surviving is a special nephew Steve Payne of Aberdeen, three sisters Peggy Morgan, Paulette Radcliffe, Betty Kersch, several brothers and sisters in law and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Isaac Chamberlain, Jr. and a sister, Mary Norman.

Services for Kenneth Chamberlain were held Monday, January 10 at 1 P.M. at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home with Rev. E. Ray Throckmorton and Mr. Greg Slone officiating. Burial was in the Charter Oak Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Craig Chamberlain, Brandon Payne, Jimmy Mitchell, Randy Dugan, Randy Ginn, Will Eastwood, Jerry Jones, David Pfeffer. Honorary bearers were the Aberdeen Huntington Township Fire Department and Life Squad Members.

Obituary – News, Longton, Kansas; Thursday, 22 JUL 1954:

William Chamberlen, 89 years and 12 days old, passed away last Thursday in his home at Longton. Mr. Chamberlen was a farmer most of his life and was well known and respected by all who knew him.

Funeral services were held last Saturday at the Methodist Church with Rev. C. P. Broadfoot officiating at the service. Burial was in the Longton cemetery. The music was furnished by Marie Howland, Georgia Freeman, and Neva Morgridge was at the piano. Acting as Paul Bearers were his grandsons, Dean Arnold, Orville Arnold, Richard Persinger, and Ernest Persinger.

William H. Chamberlen, son of Joab G. Chamberlen and Rosanna (Rohrer) Chamberlen was born in Huntington, Indiana, July 30, 1865, and died at his home in Longton, Kansas, July 15, 1954.

There were two sisters and six brothers all who preceded him in death. His wife, Lillian May (Munsinger) Chamberlen, one daughter, Milly (Chamberlen) Persinger, and one son, Roscoe Giles Chamberlen, also preceded him in death.

One son, Cecil Chamberlen and one daughter, Mrs. Edith Arnold, both of Longton, still survive. There are several nieces and nephews, friends of the family extend their sincere sympathy.

     Donald Custers Chambers was born on 3 April 1928. He married June Bertha Pfeffer, daughter of Frederick William Pfeffer and Mary Ellen Smalley, circa 1968.      Dorothy Chambers was also known as "Hattie". She was born on 10 February 1922. She married Donald Gingrich Van Brocklin, son of Howard Harrison Van Brocklin and Velora Agnes Gingrich. Dorothy Chambers died on 30 October 2000 at Port Angeles, Clallam Co., WA, at age 78.

     Elizabeth Chambers married Jesse Pusey.

     Evelyn Chambers was born on 4 August 1914. She died on 20 August 1988 at Orlando, Orange Co., FL, at age 74 dates per SSDI.

     Evelyn Chambers was born on 24 July 1913 at Tennessee daughter of Thomas W. and Anna B. (Thomas) Chambers. Probably born in Washington or Sullivan County, as Anna was born at Jonesborough. She married Charles Lynn Faust, son of Hugh Dulaney Faust and Frances Nell Reeves, on 8 April 1937 at Bluefield, Mercer Co., WV, After Evelyn's death, Charles remarried to Erika Felicitatas (1917 - 1968), buried alongside him at Woodland Cemetery, Jackson, Michigan. Evelyn Chambers died on 28 November 1950 at age 37. She was buried in 1950 at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery, Knoxville, Knox Co., TN, Findagrave #75439056.

     Franklin Chambers married Martha Ellen Williams on 17 November 1885 at Washington Co., IN.

     Garnet Permelia Chambers was born on 1 September 1896 at Bath, Mason Co., IL. She was the daughter of Samuel Bert Chambers and Addie Rozella Knock. Garnet Permelia Chambers married Darald Dean Myer, son of John Myer and Birdella Cochran, circa 1915. Garnet Permelia Chambers and Darald Dean Myer were divorced before 23 August 1920. Garnet Permelia Chambers married Clark Alexander Sankey on 23 August 1920 at Grant Co., SD. Garnet Permelia Chambers died in July 1946 at age 49.

     Gilbert Hanson Chambers was also known as "Gib". He was born on 2 August 1910 at Akron, Summit Co., OH. He married Gladys Bernice Starr, daughter of Charles Truman Starr and Eva Jane England, on 24 December 1935 at Caldwell, Canyon Co., ID. Gilbert Hanson Chambers died on 5 June 1985 at Philomath, Benton Co., OR, at age 74.

     Glenna Marie Chambers was born on 8 October 1919. She married Arthur Kessler Fagan. Glenna Marie Chambers died on 13 July 2009 at age 89

Glenna M. Fagan, 89, of Vandalia, formerly of Troy, passed away at 8:30 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2009, at Englewood Manor.

She was born Oct. 8, 1919, in Miami County, to the late Archie and Helena (Mendenhall) Chambers. Glenna married Arthur K. Fagan and he preceded her in death on Oct. 6, 1978.

She is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Shirlee Fagan of Fallbrook, Calif., Gary and Karen Fagan of Vandalia and Tom and Jane Fagan of Butler Township, Montgomery County; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jean Kiehl of Bowling Green.

In addition to her husband and parents, Glenna was preceded in death by her stepfather, William C. Shellhouse; grandson, Michael Fagan; two brothers, Glenn and Ray Shellhouse; and sister, Thelma Martin Sullivan.

She was a graduate of Newton High School in Pleasant Hill. Glenna was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Troy. She was a member and former officer of the U.A.W. Local 128 Retirees Club of Troy. Glenna was a longtime volunteer kindergarten aide at Murlin Heights Elementary School in Butler Township.

The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, with Pastor Carol Bastin officiating. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from noon to 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
