MRS. ANNA O. RUTLEDGE

The funeral of Mrs. Anna O. Rutledge, 70 years old, who died at St. Luke's Hospital Friday, took place at 8:30 o'clock yesterday morning from the home of her son, Mr. Joseph Rutledge, 2208 Ashland avenue. The body was taken to St. Andrew's Catholic Church, where a requiem high mass was celebrated. Burial was in Greenmount Cemetery.

She was buried in March 1911 at Baltimore Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.

Christine VanOrder of Vermont Dies

Mrs. Christine VanOrder, 74, of Vermont, died May 2, 1981, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville. Mrs. VanOrder was born May 21, 1906, the daughter of Ezra and Flora Ruby Chenoweth. She married Walter VanOrder on March 28, 1931, in Palmyra, MO. He died Dec. 17, 1976. Surviving are one son, Walter C. of Vermont; one daughter, Mrs. Annabelle Myers of Galesburg; two grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Wilma Toland and Mrs. Freda Walters, both of Galesburg and Mrs. Pauline Riden of Moline; and two brothers, Melvin of Table Grove and Virgil of Ipava. She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

She was a member of the Legion Auxiliary Unit 26 of Vermont. Funeral services are to be held at 2 P.M. this afternoon at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. Glenn Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Harris Cemetery near Table Grove. Memorials may be made to the Vermont Legion Auxiliary Unit 26.

Coakley and Mary Matilda Kirkpatrick, on 22 February 1916 at Iowa City, Johnson Co., IA. Tessa Bernice Chenoweth died on 18 May 1976 at Washington, Washington Co., IA, at age 80.

     Willard Webb Chenoweth was born on 12 April 1916 at Greenfield, Greene Co., IL.¹ He was the son of Harry Joseph Chinowth and Woodworth Yost Webb.¹ Willard Webb Chenoweth married Mary Browning, daughter of Ezra E. Browning and Effie Smith, circa 1944. Willard Webb Chenoweth died on 12 January 1998 at Memphis, Shelby Co., TN, at age 81.

     Caroline Cherrington was born on 6 October 1821. She married John Nisewanger Kerr, son of John Kerr Jr. and Christina Niswanger, on 21 August 1846. Caroline Cherrington died on 5 November 1902 at age 81.

     Mary Cherrington was born on 3 October 1828 at Ohio.¹ She married James McCormick Jr., son of James McCormick and Rachel Niswonger, on 2 May 1855. MRS. ALBERT BADER
Mrs. Daisy F. Bader, 82, widow of Albert Bader, died at 5:10 a.m. Wednesday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. James E. Lloyd, 562 Hudson Ave. She had been confined to bed 16 months and seriously ill 10 days.
The daughter of Thomas J. and Eva (Tedrick) Cherry, she was born July 15, 1877, in Licking Township, Licking County. Her husband preceded her in death in August, 1944, and besides Mrs. Lloyd, she leaves another daughter, Mrs. Earl Watkins of Granville; two grandsons and six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Goldie C. Smith of Baltimore, Md. and Mrs. Faye S. Hoover of Buckeye Lake.
Mrs. Bader, a former resident of Buckeye Lake was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Buckeye Lake, and was church organist 16 years.
The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday with a requiem mass in St. Francis de Sales Church, Newark. Burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at Criss Brothers Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Evelyn Fay Cherry married (?) Hoover. Evelyn Fay Cherry married W. Clifford Sutton on 24 December 1902. Evelyn Fay Cherry lived in 1930 at Xenia, Greene Co., OH. She lived in 1959 at Buckeye Lake, Licking Co., OH.

     George Cherry was born circa 1857 at Independence Twp., Macon Co., MO.¹ He was the son of Wesley Jordan Cherry and Mary Elizabeth Hodge.¹

     Goldie Glenn Cherry was born on 6 June 1879 at Newark, Licking Co., OH. She was the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Cherry and Evelyn Cinda Tedrick. Goldie Glenn Cherry married Otto Lindley Smith, son of James Smith and Edith Johnson, on 3 December 1902 at Newark, Licking Co., OH. Goldie Glenn Cherry lived in 1930 at Toledo, Lucas Co., OH. She died on 3 September 1972 at Catonsville, Baltimore Co., MD, at age 93. She was buried on 5 September 1972 at St. Johns Cemetery, Ellicott City, Howard Co., MD.

     Henry Cherry was born in August 1846 at Ohio per 1900 census, or 20 MAR 1846 per death certificate signed by his wife.¹ He married Adelaide Louise Fuller, daughter of Josiah S. Fuller and Mary Ann Steward, circa 1869, 31 years married, as of 1900 census, no children.¹ Henry Cherry died on 18 February 1916 at Holland, Ottawa Co., MI, at age 69. He was buried in February 1916 at Pilgrim Home Cemetery, Holland, Ottawa Co., MI, The same undertaker, Dr. Seth Nibbelink, handled both Henry and Adelaide's final arrangments, and Adelaide's grave at Pilgrim Home (formerly Holland Township) Cemetery is documented, so Henry is almost certainly buried there as well.      Robert E. Cherry was born on 26 October 1859 at Independence Twp., Macon Co., MO.¹ He was the son of Wesley Jordan Cherry and Mary Elizabeth Hodge.¹ Robert E. Cherry died on 9 September 1928 at Goldsberry, Macon Co., MO, at age 68.

     Thomas Jefferson Cherry was born on 4 September 1854. He married Evelyn Cinda Tedrick, daughter of Jehiel Tedrick and Louisa Larimore, on 10 May 1877 at Newark, Licking Co., OH.
