     Mary Cornelius was born on 28 February 1840 at Muskingum Co. (probably), OH. She was the daughter of William Cornelius and Nancy McHenry. Mary Cornelius married William Donat on 26 October 1862. Mary Cornelius died after 1910 at Noble Co. (probably), IN.¹

     Mary Ann Cornelius was born circa 1813 at Muskingum Co., OH, Age 9 in 1823 guardianship papers of children of Isaac Cornelius. She was the daughter of Isaac Cornelius and Barbara (?) Mary Ann Cornelius married James Wortman on 31 March 1835 at Muskingum Co., OH, by J. Carnes (Muskingum County Marriage Book II 1818 -1835.) Mary Ann Cornelius died before October 1840 at Coshocton or Muskingum Co., OH.

     Mary C. Cornelius was born circa 1850. She was the daughter of George Cornelius and Margaret Eckelberry. Mary C. Cornelius married Calvin R. Sturts on 12 May 1867.

     Mary Jane Cornelius was born on 30 January 1835 at Muskingum Co., OH. She was the daughter of Christopher Cornelius and Susannah Jack. Mary Jane Cornelius married Valentine Eckelberry, son of Henry Eckelberry and Margaret Wilson, on 5 January 1854 at Otsego, Muskingum Co., OH. Mary Jane Cornelius lived in June 1870 at Grant Twp., Caldwell Co., MO.¹ She lived in 1880 at Hamilton Twp., Caldwell Co., MO.² She died on 20 June 1922 at Hamilton, Caldwell Co., MO, at age 87.

     Maude Cornelius was born in March 1891 at CO.¹ She was the daughter of Christopher Cornelius and Harriet Josephine St. Clair.¹

     Morgan Simms Cornelius was born on 30 November 1833 at Muskingum Co., OH. He was the son of Christopher Cornelius and Susannah Jack. Morgan Simms Cornelius married Mary Ann Miller, daughter of Hamilton Miller, on 12 December 1854 at Muskingum Co., OH, ceremony by W. H. Marshall. Morgan Simms Cornelius began military service on 26 September 1864 Enlisted, 78th Regiment, OVI. Entered service Sept. 26, 1864 as a Private in Co. F commanded by Capt. Waller and was honorably discharged at Washington, D.C. on May 30, 1865. Personal description for pension was age 54, 5"11" tall, dark complexion, dark brown hair with gray eyes. While on duty in Georgia in 1864, from overexposure, he contracted dropsy, disease of the liver and kidneys. Went out west to Missouri for his health and died. Was brought back to Ohio for burial.

He lived at Daviess Co., MO. He died on 23 February 1898 at age 64.

     Nathan Cornelius was born in 1855 at Muskingum Co. (probably), OH.¹ He was the son of William Cornelius and Nancy McHenry. Nathan Cornelius lived in 1870 at Elkhart Twp., Noble Co., IN.¹ He died on 31 December 1874.

     Ned Cornelius was born circa 1905 at CO. He was the son of James Monroe Cornelius and Ada Leana Holmes.

     Neva May Cornelius was born on 27 November 1922. She was the daughter of Robert Henry Cornelius and Anna J. Boyd. Neva May Cornelius died on 6 June 1993 at age 70.

     Nora M. Cornelius was the daughter of Christopher Henry Cornelius and Loretta E. Surface.

     Norma Irene Cornelius was born on 26 May 1912. She was the daughter of Ira Jacob Cornelius and Della May Eckelberry. Norma Irene Cornelius married James Elmer Lusk, son of John Lusk. Norma Irene Cornelius died on 16 July 1969 at Zanesville Hospital, Zanesville, Muskingum Co., OH, at age 57 Murdered. Was hit in the back of the head while going down stairs to the basement. Her husband was allegedly out mowing in the field at the time -- her father in-law John Lusk was also a possible suspect but no evidence to connect him to the murder was ever found.

John Lusk was placed in a nursing home shortly after the murder. She was buried in July 1969 at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge, Guernsey Co., OH.

     Oscar Cornelius was born circa 1903 at CO. He was the son of James Monroe Cornelius and Ada Leana Holmes.

     Paul Cornelius was born on 22 July 1922. He was the son of Benjamin N. Cornelius and Amanda Parks. Paul Cornelius died on 19 September 1991 at age 69.

     Pearl Cornelius was born in October 1894 at Arapahoe Co. (probably), CO. She was the daughter of James Monroe Cornelius and Ada Leana Holmes.

     Peter Cornelius was born circa 1765 at Baltimore, MD. He was the son of John Cornelius and Eleanor Little. Peter Cornelius married Rebecca Morgan, daughter of John Morgan and Catherine (?). Peter Cornelius died circa 1825 at Huntingdon Co., PA.

     Rachel Ann Cornelius was born in May 1843 at Muskingum Co., OH.^1,2 She was the daughter of Christopher Cornelius and Susannah Jack. Rachel Ann Cornelius married Thomas Hutchison Bragg, son of John Bragg and Rebecca Hutchison, on 1 July 1866 at Cambridge Methodist Episcopal Church, Cambridge, Guernsey Co., OH, Marriage Book "D", p.327

1900 census shows 12 children born to Rachel, 3 living as of 1900. The "3 living" is not understood -- I can account for 4 living daughters and one living son as of the 1900 census. Moreover, their marriage lasted only 16 years until Thomas died, making 12 children a stretch. Apparently the 1900 census figures were given by her second husband, John Gadd, applicable to his marriage, rather than for Rachel. DLB 2011. Rachel Ann Cornelius married John Gadd in 1896. Rachel Ann Cornelius lived in June 1900 at Cambridge Twp., Guernsey Co., OH.² She died on 1 February 1909 at Cambridge, Guernsey Co., OH, at age 65. She was buried in February 1909 at Center Baptist Cemetery, Center, Guernsey Co., OH, Findagrave #28233011.

     Rebecca Jane Cornelius was born on 7 June 1830 at Huntingdon Co., PA.¹ She was the daughter of Lewis Cornelius and Amelia Burns. Rebecca Jane Cornelius married George Washington Price circa 1849. Rebecca Jane Cornelius died on 25 July 1850 at Huntingdon Co., PA, at age 20.

     Occupation: Barber. Robert Henry Cornelius was born on 2 November 1894. He was the son of George W. Cornelius and Caroline M. Phelps. Robert Henry Cornelius married Anna J. Boyd on 10 July 1919. Robert Henry Cornelius was buried in August 1967 at Flat Ridge Cemetery, Guernsey Co., OH. He died on 8 August 1967 at age 72.

     Roy Cornelius was the son of Christopher Henry Cornelius and Loretta E. Surface.

     Ruth Vera Cornelius was born on 11 October 1909. She was the daughter of Lorren Ernest Cornelius and Vera Lottie Kern.

     Sarah Surrilda Cornelius was born on 12 May 1837. She was the daughter of Christopher Cornelius and Susannah Jack. Sarah Surrilda Cornelius married George Addy on 1 December 1859. Sarah Surrilda Cornelius lived in 1880 at Benton Twp., Benton Co., IA. She died on 19 February 1901 at age 63.

     Susan C. Cornelius was born circa 1858. She was the daughter of George Cornelius and Margaret Eckelberry.

     Sylvester Hayes Cornelius was born on 31 October 1859 Birth date calculated from death date and age "28 years, 9 months, 28 days." He was the son of Morgan Simms Cornelius and Mary Ann Miller. Sylvester Hayes Cornelius died on 28 August 1888 at age 28 accidental drowning. He was buried in 1888 at Otsego Methodist Church Cemetery, Otsego, Muskingum Co., OH.
