(probably), MA, at age 78 per SSDI, last residence Melrose.
Note: On his WW I draft registration card (1917), James B. Crockett indicated that he was married and had a child. The 1930 census listing for Esther Anger Crockett indicates that she married James about 1920, and indeed she and James are listed as a married couple living in New York City in the 1920 census, with no evidence of a child. No further information has been found to corroborate or refute the draft card information. DLB 2018.

(?) before April 1930, It would appear that Ruth either divorced or died shortly after the 1940 census. As of his 1942 draft registration, Richard gave his mother's name and address as the person who would always know where he lived.

Richard Stites Crockett lived on 10 April 1930 at 80 Grand Street, Mt. Vernon, Westchester Co., NY, Radio engineer.2 He lived between 1933 and 1940 at Seattle, King Co., WA. He lived in 1942 at 7506 Foothill Boulevard, Oakland, Alameda Co., CA, WW II draft registration. He died on 2 January 1982 at Santa Barbara Co., CA, at age 85.
