She died on 25 May 1955 at East Pikeland Twp., Chester Co., PA, at age 81 Mary Beck, widow, was living in her daughter Bernice Heller's household as of the 1940 census. TOLEDO, O., Dec. 17. -- Ten of 33 employes of the street department who walked out Tuesday as a protest against dismissal of William G. De Bree, street commissioner, failed to return to work yesterday and were dropped from the payroll. The commissioner was ousted after he sought to abolish an employment office in his department without consulting his superior officers.

George Michael Deadrick, uncle of Rosannah Wendel Tatum, and Howell Tatum operated a banking and mercantile partnership in Nashville, 1802-1805. Deaderick later served as president of the Nashville Bank, and as captain of Tennessee Volunteers during the War of 1812. Howell Tatum was a veteran of the Revolution, he held various offices for short periods; attorney general and treasurer of the Mero District, Judge of the Superor Court, military storekeeper at Nashville. In the New Orleans Campaign, he served as Jackson's topographical engineer. Howell Tatum was a revolutionary veteran, lawyer, merchant, surveyor, and officeholder in Nashville for the Mero District, served as topographical engineer to the Tennessee Militia ant to the U.S. Army, 7th Military District, from February 1814 to June 1815. She married Christopher Wendel, son of Christophel Wendel and Catherine Brumbach, circa 1772 at Frederick Co. (probably), VA. Susannah Deaderick was separated on 19 April 1793 at Frederick Co., VA; separated from Christopher after a 19 April 1793 agreement to separate; Susannah to maintain their children, and for this purpose Christopher Windle transferred to Michael and Thomas Deaderick a bond from David Deaderick, also household goods, etc. (Federick Co., Virginia, Superior Court Deeds, No. 2, p. 20).

She left a will on 5 November 1814. She died in 1816 at Nashville, Davidson Co., TN.
