Captured, held at Camp Chase, exchanged at City Point, 25 FEB 1865, paroled 18 APR 1865. He married Willie Ann Huffman, daughter of Lt. James William Huffman and Susannah Swartz, circa 1893 at Shenandoah Co., VA.1 Enoch Wesley Fant died on 24 January 1936 at age 90. He was buried in January 1936 at St. John's United Church of Christ, Hamburg, Shenandoah Co., VA.

George C. Farley, 97, is survived by his daughters, Joan L. Twining and Mary Ann (Karl) Lindberg, his grandchildren, Kristen (Jim) Royer, Erik (Chrissy) Lindberg and Tamara (Mark) Stanley and seven great-grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth, Eva Royer, Auden, Cade and Harper Lindberg, and Patryck and McKenna Stanley.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice A. Harms Farley, his parents, a brother, five sisters and a granddaughter.

George was an active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and enjoyed being in the company of the children of Our Savior God Squad. He volunteered on several boards in his retirement including Senior Service Center, Salem Village, United Way, Department of Aging and the Caterpillar Retirees. During his younger years, George was a runner and swimmer in high school and was a record breaking runner at Northwestern University. He also enjoyed golf, fishing, bowling and traveling the world with his wife.
