Obituary:

Mary Lois Davis, 96, formerly of Ramsey, died Wednesday, June 30, at

Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.

A native of McLean, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Edwin S. and

Hattie Hudson Davis.

She was a resident of Westminister Village in Clarksville and a member of

Bloomington (Ill.) Chapter of Order of Eastern Star, Hoosier Elm Chapter

of Daughters of American Revolution in Corydon and Unity Chapel United

Methodist Church in Ramsey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Davis.

Survivors include a son, Omar L. Robinson of Greenwood; a daughter,

Patricia Salmon of Tucson, Ariz.; two stepsons, Robert P. and David L.

Davis, both of Ramsey; four stepdaughters, Rae Walk of New Salisbury,

Billie Hart of Austin, Texas, Martha Tower of Corydon and Judy Austin of

Brandenburg; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral was Sunday, July 4, at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey with

burial in Woods Chapel Cemetery. The Rev. Norris Rumbley officiated.
