Abraham Stauffer was born in 1729 in Perkioman Twp., Montgomery Co., PA, (DAVIS) Abraham patented 50 acres in Robinson (Robeson) township, Berks county, 25 Mar 1748. He was taxed on 150 acres at Cocalico township in 1756. It was probably the 150 acres that his father had received in 1734. He bought land in Cumru township, Berks county in 1761. His father conveyed land to him in Cocalico township in 1762. He sold that land in 1762. He later moved to Managhan township, York county. He married
Christiana Deardorff. He died on 7 July 1785 in Monoghan Twp., York Co., PA.
Abraham Stauffer was Mennonite. Occupation: Blacksmith.
