Obituary -- Amarillo Daily News, Amarillo, Texas; -Mar 28,1957:
PAMPA, March 27-- Harry Leroy Price, 69, manager of a Skellytown lumber company before he moved to Pampa in 1955, died at 7:30 PM Tuesday in Highland General Hospital here.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 AM Thursday in Duenkel-Carmichael Chapel. The Rev. Ronald Hubbard, Presbyterian pastor will officiate. Burial will be in the Chickasha, Okla., cemetery.
Mr. Price is survived by his wife, Emma, of Pampa; a daughter, Mrs. Sam C Dunn of Amarillo; a son Richard Price of Pampa; his mother, Mrs. Lester Price of Chickasha, Okla.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
BIOGRAPHY -- (Findagrave.com):
Harry was a rural mail carrier at the time he met Emma Nunn. They met at the mail box. He later decided to live on a farm near Tabler, Oklahoma about 7 miles from Chickasha. When he was married he bought furniture for their first home and surprised his wife. Harry and Emma worked hard on the farm. She was an immaculate housekeeper and an excellent cook. They had 2 children, Geraldine and Richard. Geraldine's grandparents Minnie and Lester Price were crazy about her and kept her in town at their home most of the time. He was always buying her new shoes. Emma was very unhappy on the farm as she wanted her children to have the best education possible and it had to be a town school instead of a country school near their farm. Geraldine stayed with her grandparents and went to school but when Richard was old enough to attend school, Emma went to her parents home in Davenport, Oklahoma, so Richard could attend school there. Harry soon followed her and a short time later he was offered a postion as manager of a lumber yard in 1926 at Pampa later to White Deer, Texas. They moved there, but Geraldine stayed with her grandparents and attended school in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Obituary.
Nellie, the 8 year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester L. Price, died about noon today at the family home, corner of Tenth and Market streets. The cause of death was heart trouble, superinduced by a severe attack of malarial fever.
Nellie was a bright and beautiful child and her untimely death is deeply deplored by a host of friends, all of whom join THE EXPRESS in extending the bereaved parents the sincerest sympathies.
Newspaper Clip:
GONE TO HER HEAVENLY HOME
Little Nellie Price, the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Price of Beatrice passed to the loving Savior awaiting her Aug 18, 1897, age 8 years and 10 days.
Nellie had been sick with malarial fever for several weeks but hopes of her recovery were entertained until the last moment so that her death came as a sudden shock to relatives and friends alike. When the news reached here it cast a gloom over the entire community and every heart was touched with sympathy for the bereaved family who until two years ago lived in our midst. Nellie was a very precocious child advanced beyond her years and perhaps no one of her age ever had more friends than she, with her bright winning ways and lovable disposition. Her memory will be like a bright blossom shedding fragrance in many a life. The funeral services were conducted by Elder Bright, at the Christian church. The church was beautifully decorated with floral offerings from her class mates and Junior Endeavor associates among whom she was a general favorite. Nellie often in life expressed the wish that she might be "a little girl angel." She has her wish, let us not mourn but rather say God knoweth best. She has won the crown without the cross.
