Virginia D. (Farlow) Wittwer, 94, of Bluffton, IN, passed away at 7:50 PM on Monday, October 13, 2014 at Swiss Village Retirement Center in Berne. She was born on Wednesday, May 05, 1920, in Chester Twp., Wells County, IN. Virginia was a 1938 graduate of Chester Center High School in Wells County. She was an extensive traveler and painter. Virginia published her own book and has always enjoyed gardening. She was a member of the Poneto Methodist Church in Poneto.
Survivors include: Sister - Mary (Husband, Kenyon Sprunger) Smith, Poneto, IN., 3 Nieces and 1 Nephew.
She was preceded in death by her: Mother - Maisie (Cassell) Farlow, Father - Mac Farlow, 1st Husband - Dick Albertson, Husband - Robert W. Wittwer, Sister - Joan Bouse, Brother - Mac Farlow, Jr. and Daughter - Stephanie Albertson.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 3:00 PM to 7:00PM.
A service to celebrate Virginia’s life will be at the Poneto United Methodist Church 36 East Walnut Street Poneto at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 20, 2014 with Rev. Roy Nevil officiating. Entombment will follow in the Covington Memorial Gardens in Fort Wayne.

Arrangements are being handled by Walker & Glancy Funeral Home in Montpelier.
